所以，你们要警醒，因为那日子，那时辰，你们不知道。”

耶稣对门徒讲了一个比喻，为了要他们常常祷告，不可灰心。

你们要谨慎，要警醒，因为你们不知道那时刻几时来到。

我对你们所说的话，也是对众人说的：要警醒！”

所以，你们要警醒，因为不知道你们的主哪一天来到。

总要警醒祷告，免得陷入试探。你们心灵固然愿意，肉体却软弱了。”

愿那能保守你们不失脚，使你们无瑕无疵、欢欢喜喜站在他荣耀之前的、

万物的结局近了。所以你们要谨慎自守，要警醒祷告。

主人来了，看见仆人警醒，那些仆人就有福了。我实在告诉你们，主人会叫他们坐席，自己束上腰带，前来伺候他们。他或是半夜来，或是天亮之前来，看见仆人这样，那些仆人就有福了。你们要知道，一家的主人若知道贼什么时候来，就不容贼挖穿房屋。你们也要预备，因为在你们想不到的时候，人子就来了。”

所以，要拿起神所赐的全副军装，好在邪恶的日子能抵挡仇敌，并且完成了一切后还能站立得住。所以，要站稳了，用真理当作带子束腰，用公义当作护心镜遮胸，

他岂以全能者为乐，随时求告神呢？

不住地祷告，

这正是神公义判断的明证，使你们配得上他的国，你们就是为这国受苦。既然神是公义的，他必以患难报复那加患难给你们的人，

他来的日子，谁能当得起呢？他显现的时候，谁能立得住呢？因为他如炼金匠的火，如漂洗者的碱。

要靠着圣灵，随时多方祷告祈求，并要为此警醒不倦，为众圣徒祈求。也要为我祈求，让我有口才，能放胆开口讲明福音的奥秘，

他是个虔诚人，他和全家都敬畏神。他多多周济百姓，常常向神祷告。

你们要恒切祷告，在祷告中警醒感恩。

至于你，凡事要谨慎，忍受苦难，做传福音的工作，尽你的职分。

因此，当审判的时候恶人必站立不住，罪人在义人的会众中也是如此。

惟有配得那要来的世代和从死人中复活的人不娶也不嫁。
