So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that the kingdom of God is near.

如是、爾見斯事至、則知上帝國近矣、

凡若此爾見之、則知上帝國邇矣、

如是爾見有此事、則知天主國近矣、

故見以上諸兆、亦當知天主之國在邇矣。

Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near.

In the same way, when you see these things happening, you will know that God’s kingdom is near.

In the same way, when you see all these things taking place, you can know that the Kingdom of God is near.

In the same way, when you see these things happening, recognize that the kingdom of God is near.

So you too, when you see these things happening, recognize that the kingdom of God is near.

Even so ye also, when ye see these things coming to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh.

For,“ Yet a little while, and the coming one will come and will not delay;

Do you think that I have come to give peace on earth? No, I tell you, but rather division.For from now on in one house there will be five divided, three against two and two against three.They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.”He also said to the crowds,“ When you see a cloud rising in the west, you say at once,‘ A shower is coming.’ And so it happens.And when you see the south wind blowing, you say,‘ There will be scorching heat,’ and it happens.You hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of earth and sky, but why do you not know how to interpret the present time?“ And why do you not judge for yourselves what is right?

“ Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers.

And the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and to test him they asked him to show them a sign from heaven.He answered them,“ When it is evening, you say,‘ It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.’And in the morning,‘ It will be stormy today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah.” So he left them and departed.
