他们当着百姓，在这话上得不着把柄，又希奇他的应对，就闭口无言了。

恨耶和华的人必来投降，但他的百姓必永久长存。

众人将耶稣从该亚法那里往衙门内解去，那时天还早。他们自己却不进衙门，恐怕染了污秽，不能吃逾越节的筵席。彼拉多就出来，到他们那里，说：“你们告这人是为什么事呢？”他们回答说：“这人若不是作恶的，我们就不把他交给你。”彼拉多说：“你们自己带他去，按着你们的律法审问他吧。”犹太人说：“我们没有杀人的权柄。”这要应验耶稣所说自己将要怎样死的话了。

他们因有贪心，要用捏造的言语在你们身上取利。他们的刑罚，自古以来并不迟延；他们的灭亡也必速速来到。

私下窥听，要拿他的话柄。

后来，他们打发几个法利赛人和几个希律党的人到耶稣那里，要就着他的话陷害他。他们来了，就对他说：“夫子，我们知道你是诚实的，什么人你都不徇情面；因为你不看人的外貌，乃是诚诚实实传神的道。纳税给凯撒可以不可以？我们该纳不该纳？”耶稣知道他们的假意，就对他们说：“你们为什么试探我？拿一个银钱来给我看！”他们就拿了来。耶稣说：“这像和这号是谁的？”他们说：“是凯撒的。”耶稣说：“凯撒的物当归给凯撒，神的物当归给神。”他们就很希奇他。

他们就说：“来吧！我们可以设计谋害耶利米；因为我们有祭司讲律法，智慧人设谋略，先知说预言，都不能断绝。来吧！我们可以用舌头击打他，不要理会他的一切话。”

恶人窥探义人，想要杀他。耶和华必不撇他在恶人手中；当审判的时候，也不定他的罪。

我听见了许多人的谗谤，四围都是惊吓；就是我知己的朋友也都窥探我，愿我跌倒，说：“告他吧，我们也要告他！或者他被引诱，我们就能胜他，在他身上报仇。”

就打发人往提哥亚去，从那里叫了一个聪明的妇人来，对她说：“请你假装居丧的，穿上孝衣，不要用膏抹身，要装作为死者许久悲哀的妇人；

众人窥探耶稣，在安息日医治不医治，意思是要控告耶稣。

当对神说：“你的作为何等可畏！因你的大能，仇敌要投降你。

因为，强暴人已归无有，亵慢人已经灭绝，一切找机会作孽的都被剪除。他们在争讼的事上定无罪的为有罪，为城门口责备人的设下网罗，用虚无的事屈枉义人。

我却像柔顺的羊羔被牵到宰杀之地；我并不知道他们设计谋害我，说：“我们把树连果子都灭了吧！将他从活人之地剪除，使他的名不再被纪念。”

耶罗波安对他的妻说：“你可以起来改装，使人不知道你是耶罗波安的妻，往示罗去，在那里有先知亚希雅。他曾告诉我说，你必作这民的王。现在你要带十个饼，与几个薄饼，和一瓶蜜去见他，他必告诉你儿子将要怎样。”耶罗波安的妻就这样行，起身往示罗去，到了亚希雅的家。亚希雅因年纪老迈，眼目发直，不能看见。耶和华先晓谕亚希雅说：“耶罗波安的妻要来问你，因她儿子病了，你当如此如此告诉她。她进来的时候必装作别的妇人。”她刚进门，亚希雅听见她脚步的响声，就说：“耶罗波安的妻，进来吧！你为何装作别的妇人呢？我奉差遣将凶事告诉你。

那寻索我命的设下网罗；那想要害我的口出恶言，终日思想诡计。
