其必來殲滅園戶、而將厥園授於他人也。』眾聞言曰：『幸勿至此。』

He will come and kill those tenants and give the vineyard to others.” When the people heard this, they said,“ God forbid!”

於是保羅和巴拿巴放膽說：「神的道本應先傳給你們；只因你們棄絕這道，斷定自己不配得永生，我們就轉向外邦人。

你的手要搜出所有的仇敵，你的右手要搜出那些恨你的人。你的臉出現的時候，要使他們如在炎熱的火爐中。耶和華要在他的震怒中吞滅他們，那火要把他們燒盡。你必從世上滅絕他們的幼苗，從人間滅絕他們的後裔。

王就大怒，發兵除滅那些兇手，燒燬他們的城。

你求我，我就將列國賜你為基業，將地極賜你為田產。你必用鐵杖打破他們，把他們如同陶匠的瓦器摔碎。」

看哪，我們今日成了奴僕！你賜給我們祖先享受土產和美物的地，看哪，我們在這地上竟作了奴僕！這地許多的出產都歸了諸王，就是你因我們的罪派來轄制我們的。他們任意轄制我們的身體和牲畜，我們遭了大難。』」
