既然我們眾人以揭去面紗的臉得以看見主的榮光，好像從鏡子裏返照，就變成了與主有同樣的形像，榮上加榮，如同從主的靈變成的。

因為昨夜，我所屬所事奉的神的使者站在我旁邊，

興起，發光！因為你的光已來到！耶和華的榮光發出照耀着你。

敬虔的奧祕是公認為偉大的：神在肉身顯現，被聖靈稱義，被天使看見，被傳於外邦，被世人信服，被接在榮耀裏。

忽然，有主的一個使者顯現，牢房裏有光照耀；天使拍彼得的肋旁，叫醒了他，說：「快起來！」鐵鏈就從他手上脫落下來。

此後，我看見另一位有大權柄的天使從天降下，地由於他的榮耀而發光。

「當我走近大馬士革的時候，約在中午，忽然有一道大光從天上下來，照射在我周圍。我就仆倒在地，聽見有聲音對我說：『掃羅！掃羅！你為甚麼迫害我？』我回答：『主啊！你是誰？』他對我說：『我就是你所迫害的拿撒勒人耶穌。』跟我一起的人看見了那光，卻沒有聽見那位對我說話的聲音。

天使進去，對她說：「蒙大恩的女子，你好，主和你同在！」

亞倫正對以色列全會眾說話的時候，他們轉向曠野，看哪，耶和華的榮光在雲中顯現。

於是我起來，到平原去，看哪，耶和華的榮耀停在那裏，正如我在迦巴魯河邊所見到的一樣，我就臉伏於地。

早晨，你們要看見耶和華的榮耀，因為耶和華聽見你們向他所發的怨言了。我們算甚麼，你們竟然向我們發怨言呢？」

那時，雲彩遮蓋會幕，耶和華的榮光充滿了帳幕。摩西不能進會幕，因為雲彩停在其上，耶和華的榮光充滿了帳幕。

正考慮這些事的時候，忽然主的使者在約瑟夢中向他顯現，說：「大衛的子孫約瑟，不要怕，把你的妻子馬利亞娶過來，因她所懷的孕是從聖靈來的。

王啊！我在路上，中午的時候，看見從天上有一道光，比太陽還亮，四面照射着我和跟我同行的人。我們都仆倒在地，我就聽見有聲音用希伯來話對我說：『掃羅！掃羅！你為甚麼迫害我？你用腳踢刺棒是自找苦吃的！』

正在為這事困惑的時候，忽然有兩個人站在旁邊，衣服放光。

朵朵繁茂，其樂融融，而且歡呼。黎巴嫩的榮耀，並迦密與沙崙的華美，必賜給它。人要看見耶和華的榮耀，看見我們神的榮美。

那吩咐光從黑暗裏照出來的神已經照在我們心裏，使我們知道神榮耀的光顯在耶穌基督的臉上。

以賽亞因看見了他的榮耀，就說了關於他的這話。

耶和華的使者到了俄弗拉，坐在亞比以謝族約阿施的橡樹下。約阿施的兒子基甸正在醡酒池那裏打麥子，為了躲避米甸人。耶和華的使者向基甸顯現，對他說：「大能的勇士啊，耶和華與你同在！」

但在夜間主的使者開了監門，領他們出來，說：

彼此呼喊說：「聖哉！聖哉！聖哉！萬軍之耶和華；他的榮光遍滿全地！」因呼喊者的聲音，門檻的根基震動，殿裏充滿了煙雲。那時我說：「禍哉！我滅亡了！因為我是嘴唇不潔的人，住在嘴唇不潔的民中，又因我親眼看見大君王－萬軍之耶和華。」

祭司因雲彩的緣故不能站立供職，因為耶和華的榮光充滿了耶和華的殿。

有主的一個使者站在香壇的右邊，向他顯現。撒迦利亞看見，就驚慌害怕。

耶和華的榮耀必然顯現，凡有血肉之軀的都一同看見，因為這是耶和華親口說的。」

我又看見一個白色的大寶座和那坐在上面的；天和地都從他面前逃避，再也找不到它們的位置了。

所見的景象極其可怕，以致摩西說：「我恐懼戰兢。」
