She will give birth to a son, and you are to name Him Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.”

“ Therefore let all the house of Israel know with certainty that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah!”

And they told the woman,“ We no longer believe because of what you said, for we have heard for ourselves and know that this really is the Savior of the world.”

How could this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?

Simon Peter answered,“ You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God!”

But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared,He saved us— not by works of righteousness that we had done, but according to His mercy— through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit.He poured out this Spirit on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,so that having been justified by His grace, we may become heirs with the hope of eternal life.

and Jacob fathered Joseph the husband of Mary, who gave birth to Jesus who is called the Messiah.

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Messiah has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father also loves the one born of Him.

The people of the coming prince will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come with a flood, and until the end there will be war; desolations are decreed.

And He gave the disciples orders to tell no one that He was the Messiah.

Can it be true that the authorities know He is the Messiah?But we know where this man is from. When the Messiah comes, nobody will know where He is from.”

or stealing, but demonstrating utter faithfulness, so that they may adorn the teaching of God our Savior in everything.For the grace of God has appeared with salvation for all people,instructing us to deny godlessness and worldly lusts and to live in a sensible, righteous, and godly way in the present age,while we wait for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.He gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for Himself a people for His own possession, eager to do good works.

He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of His servant David,

He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.This has now been made evident through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who has abolished death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.

More than that, I also consider everything to be a loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. Because of Him I have suffered the loss of all things and consider them filth, so that I may gain Christ

Then He said to them,“ How can they say that the Messiah is the Son of David?For David himself says in the Book of Psalms: The Lord declared to my Lord,‘ Sit at My right handuntil I make Your enemies Your footstool.’David calls Him‘ Lord’; how then can the Messiah be his Son?”
