saying, If thou hadst known in this day, even thou, the things which belong unto peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.

说：“巴不得你在这日子知道关系你平安的事；无奈这事现在是隐藏的，叫你的眼看不出来。

说：“但愿你在这日子知道有关你平安的事，不过这事现在是隐藏的，你的眼睛看不出来。

说：“但愿你在这日子知道有关你平安的事，不过这事现在是隐藏的，你的眼睛看不出来。

说：“今天你若知道那能带给你平安的事就好了！可惜这事现在是隐藏的，你看不见！

说：“巴不得你在这日子，知道关于你平安的事，但现在这事在你眼前是隐藏的。

说：“巴不得你在这日子里明白关乎你和平的事，但如今这事在你眼前被隐藏了。

說：「巴不得你在這日子知道關係你平安的事；無奈這事現在是隱藏的，叫你的眼看不出來。

說：「但願你在這日子知道有關你平安的事，不過這事現在是隱藏的，你的眼睛看不出來。

說：「但願你在這日子知道有關你平安的事，不過這事現在是隱藏的，你的眼睛看不出來。

說：「今天你若知道那能帶給你平安的事就好了！可惜這事現在是隱藏的，你看不見！

說：“巴不得你在這日子，知道關於你平安的事，但現在這事在你眼前是隱藏的。

說：『巴不得連你也在這日子知道那關於你平安之事哦；無奈已被隱藏、使你的眼看不出來了。

說：「巴不得你在這日子裡明白關乎你和平的事，但如今這事在你眼前被隱藏了。

曰、倘爾於是日、知關乎平安之事則幸、但今隱於爾目矣、

曰、今猶為爾日、及是時、而知關爾平安之事、則幸、過此、隱於爾目矣、

城乎、今猶為爾之日、倘爾於是日、而知關爾平安之事則幸、但此事今隱於爾目矣、

『汝倘能於此日、恍然了悟平安之所自、豈不美乎？奈何至今！汝目猶有所蒙也。

and said,“ If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace— but now it is hidden from your eyes.

He said,“ I wish you had known today what would bring you peace! But now it is hidden from your eyes.

saying,“ Would that you, even you, had known on this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

“ How I wish today that you of all people would understand the way to peace. But now it is too late, and peace is hidden from your eyes.

saying,“ If you knew this day what would bring peace— but now it is hidden from your eyes.

saying,“ If you had known on this day, even you, the conditions for peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes.

saying,“ If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

saying,“ If you knew this day what would bring peace— but now it is hidden from your eyes.

Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things[ which belong] unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.

saying,“ If you had only known on this day, even you, the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

saying,“ If you, even you, had known today the things which belong to your peace! But now, they are hidden from your eyes.

Oh that they were wise, that they understood this, That they would consider their latter end!

And working together with him we entreat also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain( for he saith, At an acceptable time I hearkened unto thee, And in a day of salvation did I succor thee: behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation):

but their minds were hardened: for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remaineth, it not being revealed to them that it is done away in Christ.But unto this day, whensoever Moses is read, a veil lieth upon their heart.But whensoever it shall turn to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

while it is said, To- day if ye shall hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled in them that perish:in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn upon them.

For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more a sacrifice for sins,but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which shall devour the adversaries.A man that hath set at nought Moses’ law dieth without compassion on the word of two or three witnesses:of how much sorer punishment, think ye, shall he be judged worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant wherewith he was sanctified an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called To- day; lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin:

To give knowledge of salvation unto his people In the remission of their sins,Because of the tender mercy of our God, Whereby the dayspring from on high shall visit us,To shine upon them that sit in darkness and the shadow of death; To guide our feet into the way of peace.

Jesus therefore said unto them, Yet a little while is the light among you. Walk while ye have the light, that darkness overtake you not: and he that walketh in the darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.While ye have the light, believe on the light, that ye may become sons of light. These things spake Jesus, and he departed and hid himself from them.

The word which he sent unto the children of Israel, preaching good tidings of peace by Jesus Christ( he is Lord of all)—

And unto them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall in no wise understand; And seeing ye shall see, and shall in no wise perceive:For this people’s heart is waxed gross, And their ears are dull of hearing, And their eyes they have closed; Lest haply they should perceive with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart, And should turn again, And I should heal them.

Oh that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea:

Cast away from you all your transgressions, wherein ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord Jehovah: wherefore turn yourselves, and live.

Seek ye Jehovah while he may be found; call ye upon him while he is near:

And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Spirit through Isaiah the prophet unto your fathers,saying, Go thou unto this people, and say, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall in no wise understand; And seeing ye shall see, and shall in no wise perceive:For this people’s heart is waxed gross, And their ears are dull of hearing, And their eyes they have closed; Lest haply they should perceive with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart, And should turn again, And I should heal them.

and to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaketh better than that of Abel.See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not when they refused him that warned them on earth, much more shall not we escape who turn away from him that warneth from heaven:whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more will I make to tremble not the earth only, but also the heaven.

And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and turn again, and be healed.

and shall dash thee to the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

And Paul and Barnabas spake out boldly, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first be spoken to you. Seeing ye thrust it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

What then? That which Israel seeketh for, that he obtained not; but the election obtained it, and the rest were hardened:according as it is written, God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear, unto this very day.And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, And a stumblingblock, and a recompense unto them:Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, And bow thou down their back always.

For Jehovah hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes, the prophets; and your heads, the seers, hath he covered.And all vision is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee; and he saith, I cannot, for it is sealed:and the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee; and he saith, I am not learned.And the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw nigh unto me, and with their mouth and with their lips do honor me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear of me is a commandment of men which hath been taught them;therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder; and the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.

even he, whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,and with all deceit of unrighteousness for them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.And for this cause God sendeth them a working of error, that they should believe a lie:that they all might be judged who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

They know not, neither do they consider: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.

Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? And to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?For this cause they could not believe, for that Isaiah said again,He hath blinded their eyes, and he hardened their heart; Lest they should see with their eyes, and perceive with their heart, And should turn, And I should heal them.These things said Isaiah, because he saw his glory; and he spake of him.

For this let every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: Surely when the great waters overflow they shall not reach unto him.

Wherefore, even as the Holy Spirit saith, To- day if ye shall hear his voice,

For he is our God, And we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To- day, oh that ye would hear his voice!Harden not your heart, as at Meribah, As in the day of Massah in the wilderness;

Oh that my people would hearken unto me, That Israel would walk in my ways!

Oh that there were such a heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!

And into whatsoever house ye shall enter, first say, Peace be to this house.And if a son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon him: but if not, it shall turn to you again.

And the angel said unto them, Be not afraid; for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which shall be to all the people:for there is born to you this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord.And this is the sign unto you: Ye shall find a babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, and lying in a manger.And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among men in whom he is well pleased.
