我語汝、必速伸之矣、雖然、人子至、將見信於世乎、○

吾語汝、冤之伸也忽焉、人子至、詎見信於世乎、○

我告爾、必速伸其冤矣、但人子臨時、豈見世有信德乎、○

予實語爾、天主必迅予昭雪矣。雖然、人子重臨之日、猶能見篤信之德、存於人世否乎？』

I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

I tell you, God will see that things are made right for them. He will make sure it happens quickly. But when the Son of Man comes, will he find people on earth who have faith?”

我們要堅守所宣認的指望，毫不動搖，因為應許我們的那位是信實的。我們要彼此相顧，激發愛心，勉勵行善；不可停止聚會，好像那些停止慣了的人，倒要彼此勸勉，既然知道那日子臨近，就更當如此。如果我們領受真理的知識以後仍故意犯罪，就不再有贖罪的祭物，

那時，人要使你們陷在患難裏，也要殺害你們；你們又要為我的名被萬民憎恨。那時，會有許多人跌倒，也會彼此陷害，彼此憎恨；且有好些假先知起來，迷惑許多人。因為不法的事增多，許多人的愛心漸漸冷淡了。但堅忍到底的終必得救。

挪亞的日子怎樣，人子的日子也要怎樣。那時，人又吃又喝，又娶又嫁，直到挪亞進方舟的那日，洪水就來，把他們全都滅了。同樣，就像在羅得的日子，人又吃又喝，又買又賣，又耕種又建造，到羅得離開所多瑪的那日，有火與硫磺從天上降下來，把他們全都滅了。人子顯現的日子也要這樣。

他們因貪婪，要用捏造的言語在你們身上取得利益。他們的懲罰，自古以來並不遲延；他們的滅亡也必迅速來到。

親愛的，有一件事你們不可忘記，就是：主看一日如千年，千年如一日。主沒有遲延他的應許，就如有人以為他是遲延，其實他是寬容你們，不願一人沉淪，而是人人都來悔改。

耶和華啊，求你速速應允我！我的心神耗盡！求你不要轉臉不顧我，免得我像那些下入地府的人一樣。求你使我清晨得聽你慈愛的聲音，因我倚靠你；求你使我知道當走的路，因我的心仰望你。耶和華啊，求你救我脫離我的仇敵！我往你那裏藏身。

弟兄們，關於那時候和日期，不用人寫信給你們，因為你們自己明明知道，主的日子來到會像賊在夜間突然來到一樣。人正說平安穩定的時候，災禍忽然臨到他們，如同陣痛臨到懷胎的婦人一樣，他們絕逃脫不了。

神在其中，城必不動搖；到天一亮，神必幫助這城。

注意！你們這些富足人哪，要為將要臨到你們身上的災難哭泣、號咷。你們的財物腐爛了，你們的衣服被蟲子蛀了。你們的金銀都生銹了；這銹要證明你們的不是，又要像火一樣吞吃你們的肉。你們在這末世只知道積蓄錢財。工人給你們收割莊稼，你們剋扣他們的工錢；這工錢在喊冤，而且收割工人的冤聲已經進入萬軍之主的耳朵了。你們在地上享奢華宴樂，把自己養肥了，等候宰殺的日子。你們定了義人的罪，把他殺害，他沒有抵抗你們。所以弟兄們，你們要忍耐，直到主來。看哪，農夫等候着地裏寶貴的出產，耐心地等到它得了秋霖春雨。你們也要忍耐，堅固你們的心，因為主來的日子近了。

因為假基督和假先知將要起來，顯大神蹟、大奇事，如果可能，要把選民也迷惑了。
