我告訴你們，他要快快地給他們伸冤。然而人子來的時候，在世上找得到這種信心嗎？”

我告诉你们：他会很快地给他们主持公道。不过人子回来的时候，难道在地上能找到这样的信仰吗？”

我語汝、必速伸之矣、雖然、人子至、將見信於世乎、○

吾語汝、冤之伸也忽焉、人子至、詎見信於世乎、○

我告爾、必速伸其冤矣、但人子臨時、豈見世有信德乎、○

予實語爾、天主必迅予昭雪矣。雖然、人子重臨之日、猶能見篤信之德、存於人世否乎？』

I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

I tell you, God will see that things are made right for them. He will make sure it happens quickly. But when the Son of Man comes, will he find people on earth who have faith?”

I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”

I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?”

又應該堅持我們所宣認的盼望，毫不動搖，因為那應許我們的是信實的。我們又應該彼此關心，激發愛心，勉勵行善。我們不可放棄聚會，好像有些人的習慣一樣；卻要互相勸勉。你們既然知道那日子臨近，就更應該這樣。如果我們領受了真理的知識以後，還是故意犯罪，就再沒有留下贖罪的祭品了；

那時人要把你們送去受苦，也要殺害你們，你們要因我的名被萬民恨惡。那時許多人會失去信仰，彼此出賣，互相恨惡；也有許多假先知出現，要迷惑許多人。因為不法的事增加，許多人的愛心就冷淡了。唯有堅忍到底的，必然得救。

挪亞的時代怎樣，人子的時代也是怎樣。當時人們吃喝嫁娶，直到挪亞進入方舟的那一天，洪水來了，把他們全都滅掉。在羅得的時代也是這樣，人們吃喝買賣，耕種建造，直到羅得離開所多瑪的那一天，火與硫磺從天上降下來，把他們全都滅掉。人子顯現的日子也是這樣。

他們因為有貪心，就用捏造的話，想在你們身上圖利；懲罰他們的，自古以來就沒有鬆懈；毀滅他們的，也不會打盹。

親愛的，這一件事你們不可忘記：在主看來，一日如千年，千年如一日。主決不耽延他的應許，像有些人以為他是耽延的一樣；其實他是寬容你們，不願有一人滅亡，卻願人人都悔改。

耶和華啊！求你快快應允我，我的心靈已經衰竭，求你不要向我掩面，免得我像那些下坑的人一樣。求你使我清晨得聞你的慈愛，因為我倚靠你。求你指示我當走的路，因為我的心仰望你。耶和華啊！求你救我脫離我的仇敵，我往你那裡藏身。

弟兄們，論到時候和日期，不用寫甚麼給你們了。因為你們自己清楚知道，主的日子來到，就像夜間的賊來到一樣。人正在說平安穩妥的時候，毀滅性的災禍就突然臨到他們，好像生產的痛苦臨到懷胎的婦人一樣，他們絕不能逃脫。

神在城中，城必不動搖；天一亮，神必幫助它。

你們富有的人哪，應當為那將要臨到你們的災禍哭泣哀號。你們的財物朽壞了，你們的衣服給蛀了，你們的金銀生鏽，這鏽要成為控告你們的鐵證，又要像火一樣吞吃你們的肉。你們竟然在這末後的日子積聚財寶。看哪，工人為你們收割莊稼，你們竟然剋扣他們的工資；那工資必為他們呼冤；收割者的呼聲，已經達到萬軍之主的耳中了。你們在世上窮奢極侈，養肥了自己，竟不知屠宰的日子到了。你們把義人定罪殺害，但他並沒有反抗。所以，弟兄們，你們應當忍耐，直到主來。看哪，農夫等待著地裡寶貴的出產，為它忍耐，直到獲得秋霖春雨。你們也應當忍耐，堅定自己的心；因為主再來的日子近了。

因為必有假基督和假先知出現，顯大神蹟和奇事；如果可以的話，他們連選民也要迷惑。
