now, will God not bring about justice for His elect who cry out to Him day and night, and will He delay long for them?

神的选民昼夜呼吁他，他纵然为他们忍了多时，岂不终久给他们伸冤吗？

上帝的选民昼夜呼吁他，他岂会延迟不给他们伸冤吗？

难道神绝不会给那些他所拣选、日夜向他呼求的人主持公道吗？难道神会耽误帮助他们吗？

神的選民晝夜呼籲他，他縱然為他們忍了多時，豈不終久給他們伸冤嗎？

上帝揀選的人晝夜向他喊救，他縱然在他們的事上延持着，難道總不給他們伸冤麼？

難道神絕不會給那些他所揀選、日夜向他呼求的人主持公道嗎？難道神會耽誤幫助他們嗎？

況上帝選民晝夜呼籲、雖久忍之、豈不伸其冤乎、

上帝選民、晝夜籲禱、其應或遲、豈不終伸其冤乎、

天主之選民、晝夜籲禱天主、其應允或遲、豈不終伸其冤乎、

況在天主、焉能不聽其選民之日夜呼籲、而為之昭雪乎？又焉能漠視其困苦、而久置不理乎？

And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?

God’s chosen people cry out to him day and night. Won’t he make things right for them? Will he keep putting them off?

And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them?

Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?

Will not God grant justice to his elect who cry out to him day and night? Will he delay helping them?

And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them?

And shall not God avenge his elect, that cry to him day and night, and yet he is longsuffering over them?

Will not God grant justice to His elect who cry out to Him day and night? Will He delay to help them?

And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

Won’t God give justice to his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he delay long to help them?

Won’t God avenge his chosen ones who are crying out to him day and night, and yet he exercises patience with them?

and they cried out with a loud voice, saying,“ How long, O Lord, holy and true, will You refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who live on the earth?”

The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.

Now she who is actually a widow and has been left alone has set her hope on God, and she continues in requests and prayers night and day.

But the Lord is with me like a powerful champion; Therefore my persecutors will stumble and not prevail. They will be put to great shame because they have failed, An everlasting disgrace that will not be forgotten.Yet, Lord of armies, who tests the righteous, Who sees the mind and the heart; Let me see Your vengeance on them, For to You I have disclosed my cause.Sing to the Lord, praise the Lord! For He has saved the soul of the needy one From the hand of evildoers.

Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward.For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.For yet in a very little while, He who is coming will come, and will not delay.

So if you, despite being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?”

Lord, the God of my salvation, I have cried out by day and in the night before You.

For after all it is only right for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you,

So if you, despite being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

as we keep praying most earnestly night and day that we may see your faces, and may complete what is lacking in your faith?

and then as a widow to the age of eighty four. She did not leave the temple grounds, serving night and day with fasts and prayers.

Who will bring charges against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies;

How long, Lord? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?How long am I to feel anxious in my soul, With grief in my heart all the day? How long will my enemy be exalted over me?

David also said,“ As the Lord lives, the Lord certainly will strike him, or his day will come that he dies, or he will go down in battle and perish.The Lord forbid that I would reach out with my hand against the Lord’s anointed! But now please take the spear that is at his head and the jug of water, and let’s go.”

I thank God, whom I serve with a clear conscience the way my forefathers did, as I constantly remember you in my prayers night and day,

Paul, a bond servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, for the faith of those chosen of God and the knowledge of the truth which is according to godliness,

So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience;

Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets, because God has pronounced judgment for you against her.”

Break the arm of the wicked and the evildoer, Seek out his wickedness until You find none.The Lord is King forever and ever; Nations have perished from His land.Lord, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will strengthen their heart, You will make Your ear attentiveTo vindicate the orphan and the oppressed, So that mankind, which is of the earth, will no longer cause terror.

May the Lord judge between you and me, and may the Lord take vengeance on you for me; but my hand shall not be against you.As the proverb of the ancients says,‘ Out of the wicked comes wickedness’; but my hand shall not be against you.After whom has the king of Israel gone out? Whom are you pursuing? A dead dog, a single flea?May the Lord therefore be judge and decide between you and me; and may He see and plead my cause and save me from your hand.”

For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hurries toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it delays, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay long.

And He will judge the world in righteousness; He will execute judgment for the peoples fairly.
