Jesus summoned them, saying,“ Allow the little children to come to me, and don’t hinder them, for God’s Kingdom belongs to such as these.

说：“我实在告诉你们，你们若不回转，变成像小孩子一样，绝不能进天国。所以，凡自己谦卑像这小孩子的，他在天国里就是最大的。

要爱慕那纯净的灵奶，像初生的婴孩爱慕奶一样，好使你们藉着它成长，以致得救，

要召集百姓，男人、女人、孩子，和在你城里寄居的，叫他们都得以听见，好学习敬畏耶和华—你们的神，谨守遵行这律法的一切话。

弟兄们，在心志上不要作小孩子。但是，在恶事上要作婴孩，而在心志上总要作大人。

你们的妻子儿女、你营中寄居的，从为你砍柴到为你挑水的人，

犹大众人和他们的孩童、妻子、儿女都站在耶和华面前。

我要使他们彼此同心同道，好叫他们永远敬畏我，使他们和他们后世的子孙得享福乐。

以撒出生后第八日，亚伯拉罕遵照神所吩咐的，为以撒行割礼。

因为这应许是给你们和你们的儿女，并一切在远方的人，就是给所有主—我们的神所召来的人。”

因为不信的丈夫会因着妻子成了圣洁；不信的妻子也会因着丈夫成了圣洁。不然，你们的儿女就不洁净了，但现在他们是圣洁的。

雅各又为法老祝福，就从法老面前退出去了。约瑟安顿他的父亲和兄弟，遵照法老的命令，把埃及境内最好的地，就是兰塞地，给他们作为产业。约瑟用粮食供给他父亲和兄弟们，以及他父亲全家的人，照扶养亲属的人口供给。饥荒非常严重，全地都绝了粮，埃及地和迦南地都因饥荒耗损了。约瑟收集了埃及地和迦南地所有的银子，就是众人买粮的银子，约瑟就把那些银子都带到法老的宫里。
