耶穌又對門徒們說：「日子將要來到，那時候你們會渴望看見人子日子中的一天，可是看不到。

他又对门徒说：“日子将到，你们巴不得看见人子的一个日子，却不得看见。

他又对门徒说：“那些日子将到，你们渴望能看见人子的一个日子，却看不见。

他又对门徒说：“那些日子将到，你们渴望能看见人子的一个日子，却看不见。

祂又对门徒说：“时候将到，你们将渴望见到人子降临的日子，可是你们却见不到。

他又对门徒说：“日子将到，你们渴望看见人子的一个日子，却见不到。

耶稣又对门徒们说：“日子将要来到，那时候你们会渴望看见人子日子中的一天，可是看不到。

他又對門徒說：「日子將到，你們巴不得看見人子的一個日子，卻不得看見。

耶穌就對門徒說：『日子必到，那時你們巴不得有看見人子日子的一天，卻不得以看見。

又語其徒曰、時將至、爾欲見人子之一日而不得見、

又謂門徒曰、時至、爾欲見人子一日、不可得矣、

又謂門徒曰、時將至、爾欲見人子之一日、而不得見、

又謂門徒曰：『時日將至、爾曹欲親歷人子之一日、亦不可得。

Then he said to his disciples,“ The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it.

Then Jesus spoke to his disciples.“ The time is coming,” he said,“ when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man. But you won’t see it.

And he said to the disciples,“ The days are coming when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it.

Then he said to his disciples,“ The time is coming when you will long to see the day when the Son of Man returns, but you won’t see it.

耶穌對他們說：「新郎與賓客在一起的時候，難道賓客能悲傷嗎？可是日子將要來到：當新郎從他們中間被帶走的時候，他們那時就要禁食了。

可是日子將要來到：當新郎從他們中間被帶走的時候，他們那時——在那些日子裡就要禁食了。」

「過一會兒，你們就不再看到我了；再過一會兒，你們又將見到我。」於是他的門徒當中有的彼此問：「他對我們說『過一會兒，你們就看不到我了；再過一會兒，你們又將見到我』，還說『是因為我要到父那裡去』，這是什麼意思呢？」他們又說：「他說的『過一會兒』是什麼意思呢？我們不明白他在說什麼。」耶穌知道他們想要問他，就對他們說：「我剛才說『過一會兒，你們就看不到我了；再過一會兒，你們又將見到我』，你們就為了這話彼此議論嗎？「我確確實實地告訴你們：你們將會痛哭、哀號，這世界反而會喜樂；你們將會憂傷，然而你們的憂傷要變成喜樂。婦人生產的時候會有憂慮，因為她的時候到了；但是生了孩子以後，她就因著有人出生到世上的喜樂，而不再記住那痛苦了。這樣，你們現在雖然也有憂慮，但是我會再見到你們，你們心裡將喜樂，並且沒有人能奪去你們的喜樂。

「現在我要回到派我來的那一位面前，你們當中卻沒有人問我：『你要到哪裡去？』只因為我對你們說了這些話，你們心裡就充滿了憂傷。但我把真相告訴你們：我離去對你們是有益處的，因為我如果不去，慰助者就不會到你們這裡來；如果我去了，我就會派遣他到你們這裡來。

耶穌說：「我與你們在一起的時候不多了，我要回到派我來的那一位面前。你們將要尋找我，卻找不到；我所在的地方，你們不能去。」那些猶太人彼此問：「這個人要到哪裡去，讓我們找不到他呢？難道他要往散居在希臘人中的猶太僑民那裡，去教導希臘人嗎？他所說的『你們將要尋找我，卻找不到；我所在的地方，你們不能去』，這話是什麼意思呢？」

可是日子將要來到：當新郎從他們中間被帶走的時候，他們那時——在那一天就要禁食了。

「孩子們哪，我與你們在一起的時候不多了。你們將尋找我，而且就像我曾經告訴過那些猶太人一樣，現在我也告訴你們：我去的地方，你們不能去。

後來，耶穌又對他們說：「我要去了，你們將要尋找我，並且將死在自己的罪中。我去的地方，你們不能去。」那些猶太人就說：「他說『我去的地方，你們不能去』，難道他要自殺嗎？」耶穌對他們說：「你們從下面來，我從上面來；你們屬於這世界，我不屬於這世界。所以我對你們說過『你們將死在自己的罪孽中。』事實上，你們如果不信我就是那一位，就將死在自己的罪孽中。」

看哪，你們的家要被廢棄。我告訴你們：你們絕不會再見到我了，直到那日子來臨，就是你們說『奉主名而來的那一位是蒙祝福的』那時候。」

今後我不在這世界上了，而他們在這世界上，我卻要到你那裡去。聖父啊，願你奉你的名，就是奉你賜給我的名保守他們，使他們合而為一，就像我們那樣。我與他們在一起的時候，我奉你的名，就是奉你賜給我的名保守了他們，也護衛了他們。他們當中除了那滅亡之子以外，沒有一個人失落。這是為要應驗經上的話。但如今我就要到你那裡去了。我在世上說這些話，是要讓他們裡面充滿我的喜樂。

耶穌說：「光在你們當中的時候不多了。要趁著有光的時候行走，免得黑暗抓住你們！因為在黑暗裡行走的人，不知道自己往哪裡去。
