他又对门徒说：“日子将到，你们渴望看见人子的一个日子，却见不到。

他又对门徒说：“日子将到，你们巴不得看见人子的一个日子，却不得看见。

他又对门徒说：“那些日子将到，你们渴望能看见人子的一个日子，却看不见。

他又对门徒说：“那些日子将到，你们渴望能看见人子的一个日子，却看不见。

祂又对门徒说：“时候将到，你们将渴望见到人子降临的日子，可是你们却见不到。

耶稣又对门徒们说：“日子将要来到，那时候你们会渴望看见人子日子中的一天，可是看不到。

他又對門徒說：「日子將到，你們巴不得看見人子的一個日子，卻不得看見。

他又對門徒說：「那些日子將到，你們渴望能看見人子的一個日子，卻看不見。

耶穌就對門徒說：『日子必到，那時你們巴不得有看見人子日子的一天，卻不得以看見。

耶穌又對門徒們說：「日子將要來到，那時候你們會渴望看見人子日子中的一天，可是看不到。

又語其徒曰、時將至、爾欲見人子之一日而不得見、

又謂門徒曰、時至、爾欲見人子一日、不可得矣、

又謂門徒曰、時將至、爾欲見人子之一日、而不得見、

又謂門徒曰：『時日將至、爾曹欲親歷人子之一日、亦不可得。

Then he said to his disciples,“ The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it.

Then Jesus spoke to his disciples.“ The time is coming,” he said,“ when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man. But you won’t see it.

And he said to the disciples,“ The days are coming when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it.

耶稣回答：“新郎跟宾客在一起的时候，宾客怎能哀痛呢？但到了时候，新郎就要从他们中间被取去，那时他们就要禁食了。

但日子到了，新郎要被取去，离开他们，那一天他们就要禁食了。”

“不久，你们不会再看见我；再过不久，你们还要看见我。”于是他的门徒中有几个彼此说：“他对我们说：‘不久，你们不会看见我；再过不久，你们还要看见我。’又说：‘因为我到父那里去。’这是什么意思呢？”他们又说：“他所说的‘不久’，是什么意思呢？我们不晓得他在讲什么。”耶稣知道他们想问他，就说：“我所说的‘不久，你们不会看见我；再过不久，你们还要看见我’，你们为了这话彼此议论吗？我实实在在告诉你们，你们要痛哭哀号，世人却要欢喜；你们要忧愁，但你们的忧愁要变为喜乐。妇人生产的时候会有忧愁，因为她的时候到了；但生了孩子以后，就不再记住那痛苦了，因为欢喜有一个人生到世上来。现在你们也有忧愁；但我要再见你们，你们的心就会喜乐，你们的喜乐是没有人能够夺去的。

现在我要到那差我来的那里去，你们中间并没有人问：‘你到哪里去？’然而因为我把这些事告诉了你们，你们心里就充满忧愁。但我要把实情告诉你们，我去是对你们有益的。如果我不去，保惠师就不会到你们这里来；我若去了，就会差他到你们这里来。

于是耶稣说：“我跟你们在一起的时候不多了，我要回到那差我来的那里去。你们要寻找我，却找不着；我所在的地方，你们是不能去的。”犹太人彼此说：“这个人要到哪里去，使我们找不着他呢？难道他要到散居在希腊人中的犹太人那里，去教导希腊人吗？他说‘你们要寻找我，却找不着；我所在的地方，你们是不能去的’这话，是什么意思呢？”

但日子到了，新郎要被取去，离开他们，那一天他们就要禁食了。

孩子们啊，我跟你们在一起的时候不多了。你们要寻找我，但是我对犹太人说过，现在也照样对你们说：‘我去的地方，是你们不能去的。’

耶稣又对他们说：“我要去了，你们要寻找我，并且要在自己的罪中死亡；我去的地方，你们不能到。”于是犹太人说：“他说‘我去的地方，你们不能到’，难道他要自杀吗？”耶稣说：“你们是从地上来的，我是从天上来的；你们属这世界，我却不属这世界，所以我对你们说，你们要在自己的罪中死亡；你们若不信我就是‘那一位’，就要在自己的罪中死亡。”

你看，你们的家必成为荒场留给你们。我告诉你们，从今以后，你们一定见不到我，直等到你们说：‘奉主名来的，是应当称颂的。’”

我不再在这世上，他们却在这世上，我要到你那里去。圣父啊，求你因你赐给我的名，保守他们，使他们合而为一，好像我们一样。我跟他们在一起的时候，因你赐给我的名，我保守了他们，也护卫了他们；他们中间除了那灭亡的人以外，没有一个是灭亡的，这就应验了经上的话。现在我到你那里去，我在世上说这些话，是要他们心里充满我的喜乐。

耶稣说：“光在你们中间的时间不多了。你们应当趁着有光的时候行走，免得黑暗追上你们。在黑暗中行走的人，不知道往哪里去。
