These twelve Jesus sent forth, and charged them, saying, Go not into any way of the Gentiles, and enter not into any city of the Samaritans:

And Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and proclaimed unto them the Christ.And the multitudes gave heed with one accord unto the things that were spoken by Philip, when they heard, and saw the signs which he did.For from many of those that had unclean spirits, they came out, crying with a loud voice: and many that were palsied, and that were lame, were healed.And there was much joy in that city.But there was a certain man, Simon by name, who beforetime in the city used sorcery, and amazed the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:to whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is that power of God which is called Great.And they gave heed to him, because that of long time he had amazed them with his sorceries.But when they believed Philip preaching good tidings concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.And Simon also himself believed: and being baptized, he continued with Philip; and beholding signs and great miracles wrought, he was amazed.Now when the apostles that were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Spirit:for as yet it was fallen upon none of them: only they had been baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.Now when Simon saw that through the laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Spirit was given, he offered them money,saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay my hands, he may receive the Holy Spirit.But Peter said unto him, Thy silver perish with thee, because thou hast thought to obtain the gift of God with money.Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right before God.Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray the Lord, if perhaps the thought of thy heart shall be forgiven thee.For I see that thou art in the gall of bitterness and in the bond of iniquity.And Simon answered and said, Pray ye for me to the Lord, that none of the things which ye have spoken come upon me.They therefore, when they had testified and spoken the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the gospel to many villages of the Samaritans.

that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honoreth not the Son honoreth not the Father that sent him.

The Samaritan woman therefore saith unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, who am a Samaritan woman?( For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.)

the four and twenty elders shall fall down before him that sitteth on the throne, and shall worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and shall cast their crowns before the throne, saying,

And from that city many of the Samaritans believed on him because of the word of the woman, who testified, He told me all things that ever I did.So when the Samaritans came unto him, they besought him to abide with them: and he abode there two days.And many more believed because of his word;and they said to the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy speaking: for we have heard for ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Saviour of the world.

And in like manner a Levite also, when he came to the place, and saw him, passed by on the other side.But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he was moved with compassion,and came to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring on them oil and wine; and he set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.And on the morrow he took out two shillings, and gave them to the host, and said, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, I, when I come back again, will repay thee.

And the four and twenty elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshipped God that sitteth on the throne, saying, Amen; Hallelujah.And a voice came forth from the throne, saying, Give praise to our God, all ye his servants, ye that fear him, the small and the great.

and sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him.And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he were going to Jerusalem.And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we bid fire to come down from heaven, and consume them?But he turned, and rebuked them.And they went to another village.

And the four living creatures said, Amen. And the elders fell down and worshipped.

But ye shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when neither in this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, shall ye worship the Father.Ye worship that which ye know not: we worship that which we know; for salvation is from the Jews.

And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,

But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what had been done to her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.

And they came into the house and saw the young child with Mary his mother; and they fell down and worshipped him; and opening their treasures they offered unto him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh.

But Simon Peter, when he saw it, fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

The Jews answered and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a demon?

And when it came to pass that Peter entered, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.But Peter raised him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.
