Jesus said to his disciples:“ Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come.

Jesus spoke to his disciples.“ Things that make people sin are sure to come,” he said.“ But how terrible it will be for anyone who causes those things to come!

One day Jesus said to his disciples,“ There will always be temptations to sin, but what sorrow awaits the person who does the tempting!

He said to his disciples,“ Offenses will certainly come, but woe to the one through whom they come!

Now He said to His disciples,“ It is inevitable that stumbling blocks come, but woe to one through whom they come!

Then He said to the disciples,“ It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come!

And he said unto his disciples, It is impossible but that occasions of stumbling should come; but woe unto him, through whom they come!

He said to His disciples,“ Offenses will certainly come, but woe to the one they come through!

Jesus said to his disciples,“ Stumbling blocks are sure to come, but woe to the one through whom they come!

“ Woe to the world for temptations to sin! For it is necessary that temptations come, but woe to the one by whom the temptation comes!

for there must be factions among you in order that those who are genuine among you may be recognized.

Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother.

I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them.

Therefore, if food makes my brother stumble, I will never eat meat, lest I make my brother stumble.

Do not, for the sake of food, destroy the work of God. Everything is indeed clean, but it is wrong for anyone to make another stumble by what he eats.It is good not to eat meat or drink wine or do anything that causes your brother to stumble.

and by the signs that it is allowed to work in the presence of the beast it deceives those who dwell on earth, telling them to make an image for the beast that was wounded by the sword and yet lived.And it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might even speak and might cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain.Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead,so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name.This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.

But I have a few things against you: you have some there who hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, so that they might eat food sacrificed to idols and practice sexual immorality.

But I have this against you, that you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and seducing my servants to practice sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols.
