除此之外，在你们和我们之间，有深渊隔开，以致人要从这边过到你们那边是不可能的；要从那边过到这边也是不可能的。’

不第此也、爾我間限以巨淵、欲由此赴爾不能也、由彼過我、亦不能也、

他們如同羊羣被派定下陰間；死亡必牧養他們；使他們直下墳墓；他們的形體必消滅，陰間必做他們的居所。

所以你們把上帝忘了的、要思想這事，免得我把你們撕碎，而沒有援救的。

信子的有永恆的生命；不信從子的必不得見生命，上帝的義怒卻停留在他身上。』

來，如今請注意！富足的人哪，應當因你們的慘難、那將要臨到的慘難、來哭泣號咷。你們的財富朽壞了；你們的衣裳給蟲子蛀了；你們的金銀長鏽了；它們的鏽必作證定你們的罪，必像火一樣喫你們的肉。在末後的日子，你們還積藏了財寶！看哪、那些割你們田地的工人、他們被你們詐欠的工錢正喊叫呢；那些收割之人的哀呼聲已經入了萬軍之主的耳中了。你們在地上宴樂奢侈；當屠宰的日子還養肥了自己！你們定了義人的罪，把他殺了；他不敵擋你們！所以弟兄們，你們要恆忍，等到主御臨。你看農夫期待着地裏的寶貴果實，就為了這個而恆忍，等到得了秋霖春雨。

『對於以色列家，四圍那些輕蔑他們的人、以後必不再向他們作刺人的蒺藜、作給人疼痛的荊棘。人就知道我乃是主永恆主。

那時你們就必重新看出義人與惡人之間、事奉上帝的與不事奉上帝的之間、有甚麼分別了。

以致我們在上帝的眾教會裏、親自拿你們來誇口，誇你們的堅忍和信心、在你們受的一切逼迫以及所忍受的患難中、仍然保持着。這正是上帝公義審判的明證，要使你們算為配得起上帝之國的；你們就是為着這國而受苦的。因為上帝所看為公義的就是：當主耶穌從天上同他有能力的天使在火燄中顯示出來時將患難報應那加患難給你們的人，而將鬆息還報你們、連同我們、受患難緊逼的人、

亞比該到了拿八那裏，見他在家裏擺設筵席、如同王的筵席；拿八心裏自感高興，大醉極了；小事大事亞比該全都沒有告訴他、直等到次日早晨天亮的時候。

我告訴你，非等到最後的一個小錢都還清了，你斷乎不能從那裏出來。』

日頭一出，帶着熱風，便使那草枯乾；它的花就凋謝，它美麗的樣子便消沒了。富足的人正在進行他的事業時、也必這樣衰殘。堅心忍受試煉的人是有福的；因為他既被試驗為良好，便可得着生命的華冠，就是上帝應許給愛他的人的。

這些人必往永世的刑罰裏去；那些義人呢、必往永世的生命裏去。」』

那迷惑他們的魔鬼就被丟在火跟硫磺的湖裏、獸和假神言人所在的地方；他們必晝夜受苦痛，世世代代、永不停息。

不義的讓他仍舊不義；垢污的讓他仍舊蒙垢污；義的讓他仍舊行義；聖潔的讓他仍舊聖潔。』
