你們若在別人的事物上顯為不可靠，誰還把你們自己的給你們呢？

你們如果在別人的東西上不忠心，誰會把屬於你們的交給你們呢？

若爾於屬人者不忠、孰以屬爾者予爾耶、

若爾於屬人者而不忠、誰以屬己者與爾耶、

若爾於屬他人者不忠、誰以屬己者予爾、

處理他人之事、猶不克盡職、誰復授爾以切身之事耶？

And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else’s property, who will give you property of your own?

Suppose you have not been worthy of trust in handling someone else’s property. Then who will give you property of your own?

And if you have not been faithful in that which is another’s, who will give you that which is your own?

And if you are not faithful with other people’s things, why should you be trusted with things of your own?

And if you have not been faithful with what belongs to someone else, who will give you what is your own?

And if you have not been faithful in the use of that which is another’s, who will give you that which is your own?

And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own?

And if you have not been faithful with what belongs to someone else, who will give you what is your own?

And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own?

And if you haven’t been trustworthy with someone else’s property, who will give you your own?

And he called ten servants of his, and gave them ten pounds, and said unto them, Trade ye herewith till I come.But his citizens hated him, and sent an ambassage after him, saying, We will not that this man reign over us.And it came to pass, when he was come back again, having received the kingdom, that he commanded these servants, unto whom he had given the money, to be called to him, that he might know what they had gained by trading.And the first came before him, saying, Lord, thy pound hath made ten pounds more.And he said unto him, Well done, thou good servant: because thou wast found faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.And the second came, saying, Thy pound, Lord, hath made five pounds.And he said unto him also, Be thou also over five cities.And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I kept laid up in a napkin:for I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that which thou layedst not down, and reapest that which thou didst not sow.He saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I am an austere man, taking up that which I laid not down, and reaping that which I did not sow;then wherefore gavest thou not my money into the bank, and I at my coming should have required it with interest?And he said unto them that stood by, Take away from him the pound, and give it unto him that hath the ten pounds.And they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds.I say unto you, that unto every one that hath shall be given; but from him that hath not, even that which he hath shall be taken away from him.

For it is as when a man, going into another country, called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one; to each according to his several ability; and he went on his journey.Straightway he that received the five talents went and traded with them, and made other five talents.In like manner he also that received the two gained other two.But he that received the one went away and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money.Now after a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and maketh a reckoning with them.And he that received the five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: lo, I have gained other five talents.His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will set thee over many things; enter thou into the joy of thy lord.And he also that received the two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: lo, I have gained other two talents.His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will set thee over many things; enter thou into the joy of thy lord.And he also that had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art a hard man, reaping where thou didst not sow, and gathering where thou didst not scatter;and I was afraid, and went away and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, thou hast thine own.But his lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I did not scatter;thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the bankers, and at my coming I should have received back mine own with interest.Take ye away therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him that hath the ten talents.For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not, even that which he hath shall be taken away.

For she did not know that I gave her the grain, and the new wine, and the oil, and multiplied unto her silver and gold, which they used for Baal.

And thou didst take of thy garments, and madest for thee high places decked with divers colors, and playedst the harlot upon them: the like things shall not come, neither shall it be so.Thou didst also take thy fair jewels of my gold and of my silver, which I had given thee, and madest for thee images of men, and didst play the harlot with them;and thou tookest thy broidered garments, and coveredst them, and didst set mine oil and mine incense before them.My bread also which I gave thee, fine flour, and oil, and honey, wherewith I fed thee, thou didst even set it before them for a sweet savor; and thus it was, saith the Lord Jehovah.Moreover thou hast taken thy sons and thy daughters, whom thou hast borne unto me, and these hast thou sacrificed unto them to be devoured. Were thy whoredoms a small matter,that thou hast slain my children, and delivered them up, in causing them to pass through the fire unto them?

But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as all our fathers were: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is no abiding.O Jehovah our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee a house for thy holy name cometh of thy hand, and is all thine own.

unto an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,who by the power of God are guarded through faith unto a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

and he said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: Jehovah gave, and Jehovah hath taken away; blessed be the name of Jehovah.

but one thing is needful: for Mary hath chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

For ye died, and your life is hid with Christ in God.When Christ, who is our life, shall be manifested, then shall ye also with him be manifested in glory.
