我誠以萬事為損、因識我主基督耶穌為更美、且為彼已損萬事、視為糞土、致可得乎基督、而恆在其中、

然我不以己生為意、而貴之、惟欲盡我程途、及由主耶穌所授之職、以證上帝恩惠之福音、

爾外、在天誰為我有、在地我無所慕兮、我身心俱憊、惟上帝為我心力、為我永業兮、

諸兄弟因羔之血並所證之道勝之、乃不愛己生以至於死也、

如爾同母兄弟、或爾子女、或懷中之妻、或如命之友、私誘爾曰、我其往事他神、爾與爾祖所未識者、即爾四周諸族之神、或近或遠、自地極至天涯、爾毋從之、毋聽之、毋惜之、毋恤之、毋匿之、必殺勿赦、

言及父母、彼曰我未見之、不認兄弟、不識子女、乃因遵行爾命、謹守爾約、

我遂惡生、因於日下經營、乃為煩惱、悉屬虛空、莫非捕風、我惡我於日下勞力操作、蓋所得者、必遺於我後也、彼為智為愚、孰克知之、我於日下以智勞力操作者、彼必主之、斯亦虛空、

雅各亦與拉結同室、愛之逾於利亞、又服役拉班七年、○耶和華視利亞不見寵、賜之生育、惟拉結不妊、
