And the slave came back and reported this to his master. Then the head of the household became angry and said to his slave,‘ Go out at once into the streets and lanes of the city and bring in here those who are poor, those with disabilities, those who are blind, and those who are limping.’

So that servant came and reported these things to his master. Then the master of the house, being angry, said to his servant,‘ Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in here the poor and the maimed and the lame and the blind.’

“ So the slave came back and reported these things to his master. Then in anger, the master of the house told his slave,‘ Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the city, and bring in here the poor, maimed, blind, and lame!’

So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.

So the slave came back and reported this to his master. Then the master of the household was furious and said to his slave,‘ Go out quickly to the streets and alleys of the city, and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind, and the lame.’

“ That servant came, and told his lord these things. Then the master of the house, being angry, said to his servant,‘ Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in the poor, maimed, blind, and lame.’

But when thou makest a feast, bid the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:

Hearken, my beloved brethren; did not God choose them that are poor as to the world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he promised to them that love him?

the blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised up, and the poor have good tidings preached to them.

Then shall the lame man leap as a hart, and the tongue of the dumb shall sing; for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.

For I say unto you, that none of those men that were bidden shall taste of my supper.

how shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation? which having at the first been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed unto us by them that heard;

Thy tacklings are loosed; they could not strengthen the foot of their mast, they could not spread the sail: then was the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame took the prey.

See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not when they refused him that warned them on earth, much more shall not we escape who turn away from him that warneth from heaven:whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more will I make to tremble not the earth only, but also the heaven.

Wisdom crieth aloud in the street; She uttereth her voice in the broad places;She crieth in the chief place of concourse; At the entrance of the gates, In the city, she uttereth her words:How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? And scoffers delight them in scoffing, And fools hate knowledge?Turn you at my reproof: Behold, I will pour out my spirit upon you; I will make known my words unto you.Because I have called, and ye have refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man hath regarded;But ye have set at nought all my counsel, And would none of my reproof:

Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit to them: for they watch in behalf of your souls, as they that shall give account; that they may do this with joy, and not with grief: for this were unprofitable for you.

Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

They therefore that were scattered abroad went about preaching the word.And Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and proclaimed unto them the Christ.And the multitudes gave heed with one accord unto the things that were spoken by Philip, when they heard, and saw the signs which he did.For from many of those that had unclean spirits, they came out, crying with a loud voice: and many that were palsied, and that were lame, were healed.

and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name unto all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

And out of his mouth proceedeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty.

The Pharisees therefore answered them, Are ye also led astray?Hath any of the rulers believed on him, or of the Pharisees?But this multitude that knoweth not the law are accursed.

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And he that heareth, let him say, Come. And he that is athirst, let him come: he that will, let him take the water of life freely.

And the apostles, when they were returned, declared unto him what things they had done. And he took them, and withdrew apart to a city called Bethsaida.

On the top of high places by the way, Where the paths meet, she standeth;Beside the gates, at the entry of the city, At the coming in at the doors, she crieth aloud:Unto you, O men, I call; And my voice is to the sons of men.

And it was broken in that day; and thus the poor of the flock that gave heed unto me knew that it was the word of Jehovah.

So David’s young men turned on their way, and went back, and came and told him according to all these words.

So when his fellow- servants saw what was done, they were exceeding sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.

Then came the disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, when they heard this saying?

Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that doeth justly, that seeketh truth; and I will pardon her.

So I fed the flock of slaughter, verily the poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.

She hath sent forth her maidens; She crieth upon the highest places of the city:Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: As for him that is void of understanding, she saith to him,

Kiss the son, lest he be angry, and ye perish in the way, For his wrath will soon be kindled. Blessed are all they that take refuge in him.

For my loins are filled with burning; And there is no soundness in my flesh.
