迨家主一興而扃其門、爾等始立門外而叩曰：「主為我啟。」主將答曰：「吾不識爾為何許人也。」

Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading,‘ Sir, open the door for us.’“ But he will answer,‘ I don’t know you or where you come from.’

When the master of the house has locked the door, it will be too late. You will stand outside knocking and pleading,‘ Lord, open the door for us!’ But he will reply,‘ I don’t know you or where you come from.’

「當糊塗的伴娘去買油的時候，新郎來了。那些預備好的伴娘跟他一同進去參加婚宴，門就關了。後來，其他伴娘回來了，喊道，『主啊！主啊！請給我們開門吧！』「新郎卻說，『我實在告訴你們，我不認識你們。』

「主人必說，『我告訴你們，我不認識你們，也不知道你們是從哪裡來的。你們這些作惡的人，走開！』

並不是所有稱呼我『主啊，主啊』的人都能進天國，只有遵行我天父旨意的人才能進去。在審判那天，很多人會對我說，『主啊，主啊，我們不是奉你的名傳道，奉你的名趕鬼，奉你的名行了許多神蹟嗎？』我會清楚地告訴他們，『我從來不認識你們，你們這些作惡的人走開！』

「你們為什麼『主啊，主啊』地稱呼我，卻不遵行我的話呢？

要趁著還可以找到耶和華的時候尋找祂，趁祂還在附近的時候求告祂。

你們知道，他後來想要承受父親對長子的祝福，卻遭到拒絕，雖然聲淚俱下，終無法使父親回心轉意。

因為祂說：「在悅納的時候，我應允了你；在拯救的日子，我幫助了你。」看啊，現在正是悅納的時候！看啊，現在正是拯救的日子！

因此，趁著還能尋求你的時候，凡敬虔的人都當向你禱告；洪水氾濫時，就沒有機會了。

因此，正如聖靈說：「你們今天若聽見祂的聲音，不可心裡頑固，像從前在曠野試探祂、悖逆祂一樣。

「王又對左邊的人說，『你們這些被咒詛的人，走開！到專為魔鬼及其使者預備的永遠不滅的火裡去吧！
