凡說話干犯人子的、還可以得赦免；惟獨褻瀆聖靈的，必不能得赦免。

語犯人子、罪猶可恕。語忤聖神、罪在不赦。

雖則我先前是謗讟、逼迫、損害者。然而我蒙了憐憫，因為我是在不信中愚蒙而作的，

『我實在告訴你們，人類的一切罪過、和所說一切毁謗的話、都可以得赦免；惟獨謗讟聖靈的、無論甚麼人、永遠也不能得赦免，乃要擔受永世罪過的罪責。』他說這話，是因為他們常說他有污靈附着。

因為我們領受了真理之認識以後，若故意犯罪，就不再有為罪獻的祭保留着了，只好期待着可怕的審判、與神妒的烈火，就是將要吞滅對敵的。一個人干犯了摩西的律法，憑着兩個或三個見證人的話，就必須死，不能得憐憫。那麼，踐踏上帝兒子的人，將自己所賴以成聖的約的血當做俗污，又褻慢施恩的靈，你們想想，他豈不更嚴重地被判為該受刑麼？因為我們知道誰說：『伸冤在我，我必報應』；誰說：『主必定他子民的罪』。掉在永活的上帝手裏、真是可怕呀！

因為人既儘一次蒙了光照，又嘗過屬天之白白的恩，而有分於聖靈，嘗過上帝之話語多麼美好，又嘗過來世之能力，若背離了正道，要叫他們再復新而悔改、是不可能的，因為他們已在自己身上把上帝的兒子重釘十字架，使他公然被羞辱了。田地吸收屢次下在地上的雨水，產生着青菜、對地之所為而被耕種的人有了用處，就從上帝享受祝福；但若生出荊棘和蒺藜，就不中用，近於受咒詛；其結局乃是被焚燒。

耶穌說：『父啊，赦免他們，因為他們所作的、他們不曉得。』他們分了耶穌的衣裳，拈了鬮。
