To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. (niv)

One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple. (niv)

Jesus answered,“ I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you.”Then Nathanael declared,“ Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the king of Israel.” (niv)

Cornelius stared at him in fear.“ What is it, Lord?” he asked. The angel answered,“ Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God.Now send men to Joppa to bring back a man named Simon who is called Peter.He is staying with Simon the tanner, whose house is by the sea.” (niv)
