使創世以來、流先知血之罪、將於此代而討焉、

致創世以來、流先知之血、悉將討於此代、

故自有世以來、眾先知所流之血、咸將歸於斯代。」

Therefore this generation will be held responsible for the blood of all the prophets that has been shed since the beginning of the world,

So the people of today will be punished. They will pay for all the prophets’ blood spilled since the world began.

凡是杀人害命的，无论人或兽，我必向他们追讨血债。凡杀人的，我必追讨他的血债。凡杀害人的，也必被人杀害，因为人是上帝照着自己的形象造的。

“‘你们要剪掉头发，在光秃的山上哀哭，因为耶和华已弃绝这惹祂发怒的百姓。’”

不可跪拜它们，也不可供奉它们，因为我——你的上帝耶和华痛恨不贞，我必追讨背弃我之人的罪，从父到子直到三四代。

看啊，耶和华要走出祂的居所，惩罚世上犯罪的人。大地必不再隐藏被杀之人的尸首，必将所流的血显露出来。

毁灭者正前来攻打巴比伦，擒拿她的勇士，折断他们的弓弩。耶和华是追讨罪恶、报应恶人的上帝。

这样，你们就不致玷污你们所居住的土地，因为血会玷污土地。除非用凶手的血作抵偿，否则被血玷污的土地无法得到洁净。

祂追讨血债，顾念受害者，不忘倾听受苦者的呼求。

玛拿西滥杀无辜，使耶路撒冷血流遍地，耶和华不会赦免这些罪行。

上天啊，众圣徒、众使徒和众先知啊，为她的下场欢乐吧！因为上帝已经向她施行报应，为你们申冤了。”这时，有一位大力天使举起一块像大磨石的石头扔进海里，说：“巴比伦大城也必这样被用力扔下去，消失得无影无踪。在你那里，再也听不见弹琴作乐、鸣笛吹号的声音了，再也找不到能工巧匠了，再也听不到推磨的声音了，再也看不到闪耀的灯光了，再也听不见新婚夫妇的欢笑声了。因为你的商人曾经趾高气扬，你的邪术曾经迷惑万国，你的城墙内流满了众先知、众圣徒和地上一切被杀之人的血。”
