主就對他說：「如今你們法利賽人洗淨杯子、盤子的外面，但你們裡面卻充滿著貪心和惡意。

主對他說：『杯盤的外面、你們法利賽人固然潔淨了，但你們裏面呢、卻滿了勒索和邪惡！

主謂之曰、今爾法利賽人、惟杯盤之外是潔、然爾內則充以刧奪、惡慝、

主曰、爾𠵽唎㘔人、惟杯盤之外是潔、而盛諸杯盤者、莫非劫奪非義之類、

主謂之曰、今爾法利賽人潔杯盤之外、惟爾內充滿刼奪、及諸惡、

耶穌謂之曰：『爾法利塞人、惟滌盃盤外表、而爾之內心、實藏垢納污。

Then the Lord said to him,“ Now then, you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside you are full of greed and wickedness.

And the Lord said to him,“ Now you Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside you are full of greed and wickedness.

And the Lord said unto him, Now ye the Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the platter; but your inward part is full of extortion and wickedness.

And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness.

But the Lord said to him,“ Now you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and the plate, but inside you are full of greed and wickedness.

The Lord said to him,“ Now you Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the platter, but your inward part is full of extortion and wickedness.

耶和華看到人在地上罪惡深重，而且人心裡的每個意念動機終日都是邪惡的。

這世代自以為純淨，但自己的汙穢卻沒有被洗淨。

他說這話，並不是因為顧念窮人，而是因為他是個賊。他管錢包，常常拿走其中所存的。

他說的再好聽，也不要相信他，因為他的心裡有七樣可憎之事。

「經文士和法利賽人哪，你們這些偽善的人有禍了！因為你們洗淨杯子、盤子的外面，裡面卻盛滿了貪心和放縱。你這瞎眼的法利賽人哪！當先洗淨杯子的裡面，好使外面也潔淨。

彼得就說：「阿納尼亞，為什麼撒旦充滿了你的心，使你對聖靈說謊，從田產的價款中私自留下一些呢？

我在猶太教中，比我本族的許多同輩更進一步，是一個對我祖先的傳統格外熱心的人。

耶穌對他們說：「你們就是那些在人面前顯示自己為義的，但是神知道你們的心。人看為高貴的，在神面前卻是可憎惡的。

「你們要提防假先知。他們披著羊皮來到你們這裡，裡面卻是凶殘的狼。

你在這件事上無份無關，因為在神面前你的心不正。所以你應當為這惡事悔改，向主祈求，或許你心中的意念因此被赦免。因我看出你在苦毒的膽汁中，被不義所捆綁。」

「你們讓一棵樹好，它的果子就好；你們讓一棵樹壞，它的果子就壞；這樣，一棵樹是憑著果子被認出來。你們這些毒蛇的子孫！你們做為惡人，怎麼能說出善的來呢？因為心裡所充滿的，口裡就說出來。好人從他心裡所存的善，發出善來；壞人從他心裡所存的惡，發出惡來。

他們向我張大了口，如同撕抓吼叫的獅子。

你們要親近神，神就會親近你們。你們這些罪人哪，當使你們的手潔淨！心懷二意的人哪，當使你們的心純潔！

因為從心裡發出種種惡念：殺人、通姦、淫亂、偷竊、做偽證、毀謗，

對潔淨的人，一切都是潔淨的；對汙穢和不信的人，沒有一樣是潔淨的，就是他們的理性和良心也都被汙穢了。

主看見那寡婦，就對她動了憐憫之心，向她說：「不要哭了！」

晚餐的時候，魔鬼已經把出賣耶穌的念頭放在加略人西門的兒子猶大的心裡。

有敬神的外表，卻否定敬神的實質；這樣的人你要避開。
