夫以爾等罪人、尚知以嘉惠賜爾兒女；況在爾之天父、有不更以聖神賦予求之者乎！』

所以，如果你们做为恶人也知道把好的东西给自己的儿女，更何况天上的父要赐圣灵给求他的人呢！”

這樣，你們雖然不好，尚且曉得把好贈品給你們的兒女，何況天上的父、豈不更要將聖靈給求他的人麼？』

所以，如果你們做為惡人也知道把好的東西給自己的兒女，更何況天上的父要賜聖靈給求他的人呢！」

爾曹雖不善、尚知以嘉貺予爾子、況天父不更以聖神予求之者乎、○

爾曹惡人、尚知以善物與子、何況天父、不更以聖神與求之者乎、○

爾曹雖不善、尚知以善物予子、何況天主、不更以聖神予求之者乎、○

If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

Even though you are evil, you know how to give good gifts to your children. How much more will your Father who is in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him.”

夫以爾之不仁、尚知以美物貽爾子女、況爾在天之父、詎能不賜求之者以佳惠乎？

婦曰：『先生既無汲水之具、而井又深、將何從而得活水乎？

伯鐸祿曰：『各宜悔悟、奉耶穌基督之名受洗、以滌罪愆、以受聖神。

天主以其聖子為我眾捨生、猶且不惜、尚何吝以一切萬有并賜於我耶？

節期之末日、亦即節期中主要之日也；耶穌立殿中、揚聲而言曰：『人有渴者、可就予以飲、有能置信於予者、必有「活水之泉、湧自其懷、沛若江河、」正如經之所言也。』此言乃指信奉之者、將領受聖神；時聖神尚未降臨、以耶穌猶未榮昇故。

耶穌對曰：『我切實語爾、人非生於水及神者、無得入天主國。生於血肉者、屬於血肉、生於神者、乃屬於神。

彼掌定罪之職者、尚且有榮、則參贊成道之事者、其榮將有不可思議者矣！舊時之所謂光榮者、今則如見大明而闇然無光矣。夫終須廢棄之臨時制度、且產生於光榮之中、則其永久者之光榮、又為何如！

庶克成爾天父之子女。蓋天父使旭日上升、兼照良莠；沛然降霖、亦無間乎義與不義也。

此正異邦人之所營者、爾之有需乎此、天父庸有不知；

且吾人賴基督之聖血、既得赦罪而成義、不更能賴之以望免刑乎？當時吾人尚為天主之悖逆、且得緣其聖子之死、而與天主重相契合、今既重相契合、不更能緣其永生、而承無疆之休乎？

爾之光輝、亦當燭照世人、庶幾世人皆見爾善行、而歸榮於爾在天之父。

即吾人肉身之父、亦曾加吾人以訓責矣；而吾人猶孝之順之。矧在吾人靈心之父、不更當孝之順之、以邀永生乎？夫肉身之父之教訓吾人也，不過數春、且多憑其私意而行之；若夫天主之所為、則必於吾人為有益、欲使吾人同化於彼之聖德耳。

夫田間野草、今日暫存、而明日投爐者、天主尚且飾之若斯、而況於爾乎？噫、何爾信心之薄也！

蓋爾恕人之過、天父亦必爾恕；

而此子狎妓耗財、返則宰肥犢以享之！」父曰：「兒乎、汝常與予偕、予之所有、皆汝之所有也。汝弟則死而復生、失而復得、故宜歡忻鼓舞、而慶祝之。」』

耶穌對曰：『爾祈禱時、應曰：「父乎、願爾名見聖、願爾國來臨、

夫以一人之罪、死亡即因若人而乘權；況在沾溉洪恩而受成義之惠者、有不因唯一基督、而乘權於生命之中乎？

吾知寓吾肉身之內者、實無片善可稱也。為善之願、未始無有；而為善之力、則未能有也。

為我滌除。眾罪之痕。我已知過。眾惡紛呈。

蓋吾人從前亦昏昧悖逆、徬徨岐途、縱情恣慾、險狠媢嫉；己實可惡、而轉以惡人。
