因為那吩咐光從黑暗中照射出來的上帝光照了我們的心，為要讓我們認識上帝在耶穌基督的面容上所彰顯的榮耀。

因為你把管理世人的權柄賜給了祂，使祂可以將永生賜予你交託給祂的人。

我使他們認識了你的名，我還要使他們更認識你，好讓你對我的愛存在他們裡面，我也在他們裡面。」

耶穌上前對門徒說：「天上地下所有的權柄都交給我了。

因此，上帝將祂升為至尊，賜給祂超乎萬名之上的名，使一切天上的、地上的和地底下的，無不屈膝跪拜在耶穌的名下，無不口稱耶穌基督是主，將榮耀歸於父上帝。

耶穌知道父將一切交給了祂，也知道自己從上帝那裡來、要回到上帝那裡，

父愛子，已把萬物交在祂手裡。

父啊，現在讓我和你同享創世以前我們所共有的榮耀吧！

一切屬於我的都是你的，屬於你的也是我的，我從他們身上得了榮耀。

最後末日來臨，那時基督會廢除一切執政的、掌權的、有能力的，將國度交給父上帝。

父不審判人，祂將審判的事全交給子，叫人尊敬子如同尊敬父。不尊敬子的，就是不尊敬差子來的父。「我實實在在地告訴你們，誰聽從我的話，又信差我來的那位，誰就有永生，不被定罪，已經出死入生了。我實實在在地告訴你們，時候快到了，現在就是，死人將聽見上帝兒子的聲音，聽見的將存活。因為正如父自己是生命的源頭，祂也同樣讓子作生命的源頭，又把審判的權柄交給祂，因為祂是人子。

遠遠超越今生永世所有執政的、掌權的、有能力的、作主宰的和一切的權勢。

使萬物降服在他腳下。」既說叫萬物都降服在人的管理之下，就沒有一樣例外。不過，我們到現在還沒有看到萬物都降服在人的管理之下，
