乃自始親見而為道之役者、傳授我儕、

爾曹亦必作證、因爾自始偕我也、

我儕若輕忽救道如此之大者、何能逃罪乎、此道主始言之、而聞之者、明證於我儕、

爾起而立、我特現於爾、欲選爾為我僕役、且為證者、可證爾所已見、及我將示爾之事、

天主子、耶穌基督福音之始、

我儕素以我主耶穌基督之大力、及其降臨之事告爾、非從巧飾虛誕、乃目擊其大榮、

我為長老、作基督受苦之證、且共享將顯之榮、勸爾中同為長老者、

是以主耶穌與我儕出入之時、自約翰施洗、至其別我升天之日、有常與我偕者、必由其中選一人、可與我儕同證耶穌復活、

蓋我儕所見所聞者、不得不言、

惟聖神臨爾後、爾將受能力、為我作證於耶路撒冷、猶太全地、撒瑪利亞、以至地極、○

又耶穌受害後、多以確據、自顯示於使徒為生、歷四旬屢現於彼、與論天國之事、

彼在猶太地及耶路撒冷、凡所行者、我儕為之作證、人乃懸之於木殺焉、至第三日、天主復活之、且使其現於人、非現於眾民、乃現於天主預選以為證者、即我儕於其復活後、與之同飲食者也、

爾曹為此事作證、

人當視我儕為基督之役、宰天主奧妙者、

播種者、播道也、

惟爾止於信、堅立於基、不移於福音之望、此福音、乃爾所聞、已傳於天下萬人、我保羅為此福音之役焉、○今我緣爾受苦、反以為喜、且為基督之身、即教會、在我身補基督未受盡之患難、我為教會之役、按天主為爾所賜我之職、遍傳天主道、

得為耶穌基督之役、訓異邦人、傳天主福音、如祭司盡職、以異邦人賴聖神成聖者、獻之如禮物而蒙悅納、

其所賜者、有使徒、有先知、有傳福音者、有牧會者、及訓蒙者、以成全聖徒、為供教會之役、為建基督之身、

天主賜我恩寵、循其大力而感我、使我得為此福音之役、我在眾聖徒中、雖為至微者、猶蒙天主賜恩、使我於異邦人中、傳基督不可測之富有、
