Fire came out from the presence of the Lord and consumed the burnt offering and the fat portions on the altar. And when all the people saw it, they shouted for joy and fell facedown.

The Lord sent fire on the altar. The fire burned up the burnt offering along with the fat parts. All the people saw it. Then they shouted for joy. They fell with their faces to the ground.

And fire came out from before the Lord and consumed the burnt offering and the pieces of fat on the altar, and when all the people saw it, they shouted and fell on their faces.

Fire blazed forth from the Lord’s presence and consumed the burnt offering and the fat on the altar. When the people saw this, they shouted with joy and fell face down on the ground.

耶和华的天使伸出手中的杖碰了一下饼和肉，火就从磐石中喷出来烧尽了它们。耶和华的天使也不见了。

于是，耶和华降火烧尽了祭物、木柴、石头、尘土，甚至沟里的水。众人看见这情景，都俯伏在地高呼：“耶和华是上帝！耶和华是上帝！”

于是，玛挪亚就把一只山羊羔和素祭放在磐石上，献给耶和华。就在这时候，天使在玛挪亚和他妻子面前行了一件奇妙的事：火焰从祭坛上升起的时候，耶和华的天使也在祭坛的火焰中升上去了。玛挪亚夫妇见状，便俯伏在地。

大卫在那里为耶和华建了一座坛，献上燔祭和平安祭，并求告耶和华。耶和华垂听了他的祷告，从天上降火在祭坛上，

他们彼此唱和，赞美、称谢耶和华，说：“祂是美善的，因为祂向以色列人永施慈爱！”所有人都高声欢呼赞美耶和华，因为耶和华殿的根基已经立好。

以色列的牧者啊，你像照顾羊群一样带领约瑟的子孙，求你垂听我们的祈祷。坐在基路伯天使之上的耶和华啊，求你向以法莲、便雅悯和玛拿西发出光辉，求你施展大能来拯救我们。

祷告说：“坐在二基路伯天使之上、以色列的上帝耶和华啊，唯有你是天下万国的上帝，你创造了天地。

所罗门祷告完毕，就有火从天上降下，烧尽了燔祭和其他祭物。殿里充满了耶和华的荣光，以致祭司不能进殿。全体以色列人看见有火降下，又看见耶和华的荣光停在殿上，便俯伏敬拜，称谢耶和华说：“耶和华是美善的，祂的慈爱永远长存。”

摩西和亚伦就伏在地上说：“上帝啊，赐人生命的上帝啊！一人犯罪，你就要向全体会众发怒吗？”

太阳下山后，大地黑暗，突然有冒烟的火炉和点着的火炬在肉块中经过。

祂稍往前走，俯伏在地上祷告：“我父啊！如果可以，求你撤去此杯。然而，愿你的旨意成就，而非我的意愿。”

每逢这些活物将荣耀、尊贵、感谢献给坐在宝座上、活到永永远远的那位时，

忽然有耶和华的天使在荆棘里的火焰中向他显现。摩西看见荆棘虽然在燃烧，却没有被烧毁。

亚伯兰就俯伏在地，上帝又对他说：

祂拿过书卷后，四个活物和二十四位长老就俯伏在羔羊面前，各拿着竖琴和盛满了香的金香炉。那些香就是众圣徒的祈祷。

现在我为你建造了殿宇，作你永远的居所。”

众天使都站在宝座、众长老和四个活物的周围，在宝座前俯伏敬拜上帝，说：

摩西和亚伦俯伏在以色列全体会众面前。

他妻子却说：“如果耶和华要杀我们，祂就不会接受我们的燔祭和素祭了，也不会让我们看见这些事并告诉我们这些话了。”

愿祂喜悦你献的祭物，悦纳你的燔祭。（细拉）愿祂使你心愿得偿、计划实现。

到了收成的时候，该隐把地里的出产当祭物献给耶和华，亚伯也把羊群中头生的羊及其最肥美的部分献给耶和华。耶和华悦纳亚伯和他的祭物，

坛上的火必须不断燃烧，不可熄灭。
