你要將一頭公牛犢作為贖罪祭給撒督後裔中做祭司的利未人，他們可以前來事奉我。這是主耶和華說的。

「若大祭司犯罪，禍及眾民，他必須獻給耶和華一頭毫無殘疾的公牛犢作贖罪祭。他要把公牛犢牽到會幕門口，將手放在牛頭上，在耶和華面前宰牛。他要取一些牛血帶進會幕裡，在耶和華面前用手指蘸血向聖所的幔子彈灑七次，也要把一些血抹在耶和華面前的香壇的四角上，然後把剩下的血倒在會幕門口的燔祭壇腳旁。他要取出作贖罪祭的公牛犢的所有脂肪，包括遮蓋內臟的脂肪和內臟上的脂肪、兩個腎臟和腎臟上靠近腰部的脂肪以及肝葉，正如取出平安祭牲的脂肪一樣。他要將這一切放在燔祭壇上焚燒。至於公牛剩下的部分，即皮、所有的肉、頭顱、腿、內臟和糞便，他要帶到營外潔淨之處，就是倒壇灰的地方，放在柴上焚燒。

我們所需要的，正是這樣一位聖潔無瑕、良善純全、遠離罪惡、超越諸天的大祭司。祂無需像其他大祭司每天先為自己的罪獻祭，然後為百姓的罪獻祭，因為祂只一次獻上自己的生命，便永遠完成了贖罪的工作。根據律法所立的大祭司都有弱點，但律法之後憑誓言所立的大祭司——上帝的兒子永遠純全。

律法因為人性軟弱而無法成就的事，上帝親自成就了。祂差遣自己的兒子成為和罪人一樣有血有肉的人，作了贖罪祭，廢掉了罪的權勢，

我要獻上肥美的牲畜，以公綿羊作馨香之祭獻給你，我要獻上公牛和山羊。（細拉）

「要把公牛牽到會幕前面，亞倫父子們要把手按在公牛頭上，在會幕門前，在耶和華面前宰牛。然後，把血帶到祭壇那裡，用手指把血塗在壇的四個角上，剩下的血倒在壇腳。再把遮蓋內臟的脂肪、肝、兩個腎臟和附在上面的脂肪都放在祭壇上燒掉。但牛皮、肉和糞要拿到營外焚燒。這是贖罪祭。

「你把亞倫父子們帶來，也要帶聖衣、膏油、一頭作贖罪祭的公牛、兩隻公綿羊和一籃無酵餅，

把雙手放在羊頭上，承認以色列人的過犯、叛逆和罪惡，將這一切罪歸到公山羊的頭上，然後派人把牠送到曠野。

上帝使無罪的基督擔當我們的罪，使我們可以藉著基督成為被上帝接納的義人。

然而，祂被壓傷、受痛苦是耶和華的旨意；祂的性命作了贖罪祭，祂必看見自己的後裔，祂必長久活著。耶和華的旨意必在祂手中實現。

因為基督也曾一次為罪受苦，以無罪之身代替不義之人，為要領你們到上帝面前。祂的肉體雖被處死，但祂藉著聖靈復活了。

獻祭者要把手放在牛頭上，所獻的燔祭便蒙悅納，為他贖罪。
