“官长若行了耶和华他神所吩咐不可行的什么事，误犯了罪，

“官长若犯罪，在任何事上无意中犯了一条耶和华—他的上帝所吩咐的禁令，而有了罪，

“官长若犯罪，在任何事上无意中犯了一条耶和华—他的神所吩咐的禁令，而有了罪，

“首领若无意中触犯他的上帝耶和华的诫命，也是犯罪。

“如果领袖无意犯了罪，行了一件耶和华他的神吩咐不可行的事，他就有罪。

「官長若行了耶和華－他神所吩咐不可行的甚麼事，誤犯了罪，

「官長若犯罪，在任何事上無意中犯了一條耶和華－他的上帝所吩咐的禁令，而有了罪，

「官長若犯罪，在任何事上無意中犯了一條耶和華－他的神所吩咐的禁令，而有了罪，

「首領若無意中觸犯他的上帝耶和華的誡命，也是犯罪。

『若是首長在永恆主他的上帝所吩咐不可行的事上犯了罪、去行其一件、是作錯了事、以致有了罪責的；

如民長誤干其上帝耶和華之命、為所不當為、以取罪戾、

如有民長、誤干我命、為所不當為、以取罪戾、

若有族長獲罪、誤犯其天主耶和華誡命之一、行所不可行者、遂致陷於罪愆、

“‘ When a leader sins unintentionally and does what is forbidden in any of the commands of the Lord his God, when he realizes his guilt

“‘ Or suppose a leader sins without meaning to. He disobeys any of the commands of the Lord his God.

“ When a leader sins, doing unintentionally any one of all the things that by the commandments of the Lord his God ought not to be done, and realizes his guilt,

“ If one of Israel’s leaders sins by violating one of the commands of the Lord his God but doesn’t realize it, he is still guilty.

“ When a leader sins and unintentionally violates any of the commands of the LORD his God by doing what is prohibited, and incurs guilt,

‘ When a leader sins and unintentionally does any of the things which the Lord his God has commanded not to be done, and he becomes guilty,

‘ When a ruler has sinned, and done something unintentionally against any of the commandments of the Lord his God in anything which should not be done, and is guilty,

When a ruler sinneth, and doeth unwittingly any one of all the things which Jehovah his God hath commanded not to be done, and is guilty;

“ When a leader sins and unintentionally violates any of the commands of the Lord his God by doing what is prohibited, and incurs guilt,

When a ruler hath sinned, and done[ somewhat] through ignorance[ against] any of the commandments of the LORD his God[ concerning things] which should not be done, and is guilty;

“‘ Whenever a leader, by straying unintentionally, sins and violates one of the commandments of the LORD his God which must not be violated, and he pleads guilty,

“‘ When a ruler sins, and unwittingly does any one of all the things which Yahweh his God has commanded not to be done, and is guilty,

“你晓谕以色列人说：若有人在耶和华所吩咐不可行的什么事上误犯了一件，

“以色列全会众若行了耶和华所吩咐不可行的什么事，误犯了罪，是隐而未现、会众看不出来的，

“民中若有人行了耶和华所吩咐不可行的什么事，误犯了罪，

大卫年间有饥荒，一连三年，大卫就求问耶和华。耶和华说：“这饥荒是因扫罗和他流人血之家杀死基遍人。”原来这基遍人不是以色列人，乃是亚摩利人中所剩的；以色列人曾向他们起誓，不杀灭他们，扫罗却为以色列人和犹大人发热心，想要杀灭他们。大卫王召了他们来，问他们说：“我当为你们怎样行呢？可用什么赎这罪，使你们为耶和华的产业祝福呢？”

并以色列会中的二百五十个首领，就是有名望选入会中的人，在摩西面前一同起来，

摩西和祭司以利亚撒，并会众一切的首领，都出到营外迎接他们。

并要从百姓中拣选有才能的人，就是敬畏神、诚实无妄、恨不义之财的人，派他们作千夫长、百夫长、五十夫长、十夫长，管理百姓，

大卫数点百姓以后，就心中自责，祷告耶和华说：“我行这事大有罪了。耶和华啊，求你除掉仆人的罪孽，因我所行的甚是愚昧。”大卫早晨起来，耶和华的话临到先知迦得，就是大卫的先见，说：“你去告诉大卫，说耶和华如此说：‘我有三样灾，随你选择一样，我好降与你。’”于是迦得来见大卫，对他说：“你愿意国中有七年的饥荒呢？是在你敌人面前逃跑，被追赶三个月呢？是在你国中有三日的瘟疫呢？现在你要揣摩思想，我好回复那差我来的。”大卫对迦得说：“我甚为难！我愿落在耶和华的手里，因为他有丰盛的怜悯。我不愿落在人的手里。”于是，耶和华降瘟疫与以色列人，自早晨到所定的时候；从但直到别是巴，民间死了七万人。天使向耶路撒冷伸手要灭城的时候，耶和华后悔，就不降这灾了，吩咐灭民的天使说：“够了！住手吧！”那时耶和华的使者在耶布斯人亚劳拿的禾场那里。大卫看见灭民的天使，就祷告耶和华说：“我犯了罪，行了恶；但这群羊做了什么呢？愿你的手攻击我和我的父家。”
