最近之邑、其長老必取牝犢、未負軛服役者、牽至活水之谷、其地未經耕種、則於谷中折犢之頸、利未人祭司必適其所、蓋其為爾上帝耶和華所簡、以供役事、藉耶和華之名、為民祝嘏、凡諸爭競鬥毆、俱憑其言而定、離見殺者最近之邑、其長老必在谷中、盥手於折頸之犢上、曰、我手未流此血、我目亦未之見、耶和華歟、爾所贖之以色列族、求爾宥之、勿使無辜之血、歸於爾民、於是流血之罪得赦、爾行耶和華所視為正者、則流血之罪、可除於爾中、○

亞倫按二手於其首、承認以色列族之過犯愆尤、所有罪戾、使之悉歸羊首、俾預簡之人牽至曠野、
