“如果以色列全体会众无意犯罪，是隐而未现、会众看不出来的，但他们行了一件耶和华吩咐不可行的事，他们就有罪。

“如果以色列全體會眾無意犯罪，是隱而未現、會眾看不出來的，但他們行了一件耶和華吩咐不可行的事，他們就有罪。

『若是以色列全會眾在永恆主所吩咐不可行的事上作錯了事、去行其一件，以致有了罪責，而那件事又是隱藏着而大眾的眼看不出來的；

如以色列會眾誤干耶和華之命、為所不當為、以取罪戾、而不自知、

如以色列會眾、誤干我命、為所不當為、昔不自明、

若以色列會眾、誤犯主誡命之一、行所不可行者、而不自知、遂致陷於罪愆、

“‘ If the whole Israelite community sins unintentionally and does what is forbidden in any of the Lord’s commands, even though the community is unaware of the matter, when they realize their guilt

“‘ Or suppose the whole community of Israel sins without meaning to. They do something the Lord commands us not to do. Suppose they realize their guilt.

“ If the whole congregation of Israel sins unintentionally and the thing is hidden from the eyes of the assembly, and they do any one of the things that by the Lord’s commandments ought not to be done, and they realize their guilt,

“ If the entire Israelite community sins by violating one of the Lord’s commands, but the people don’t realize it, they are still guilty.

“ Now if the whole community of Israel errs, and the matter escapes the notice of the assembly, so that they violate any of the LORD’s commands and incur guilt by doing what is prohibited,

‘ Now if the entire congregation of Israel does wrong unintentionally and the matter escapes the notice of the assembly, and they commit any of the things which the Lord has commanded not to be done, and they become guilty;

‘ Now if the whole congregation of Israel sins unintentionally, and the thing is hidden from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done something against any of the commandments of the Lord in anything which should not be done, and are guilty;

And if the whole congregation of Israel err, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done any of the things which Jehovah hath commanded not to be done, and are guilty;

“ Now if the whole community of Israel errs, and the matter escapes the notice of the assembly, so that they violate any of the Lord’s commands and incur guilt by doing what is prohibited,

And if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done[ somewhat against] any of the commandments of the LORD[ concerning things] which should not be done, and are guilty;

“‘ If the whole congregation of Israel strays unintentionally and the matter is not noticed by the assembly, and they violate one of the Lord’s commandments, which must not be violated, so they become guilty,

“‘ If the whole congregation of Israel sins, and the thing is hidden from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done any of the things which Yahweh has commanded not to be done, and are guilty;

「如果有人觸犯耶和華的誡命，即使他不知道，也是有罪的，必須擔當罪責。

如果有人接觸了不潔淨之物，如野獸的屍體、家畜的屍體或爬蟲的屍體，即使無意也已不潔淨，是有罪的。如果有人無意中接觸了別人的不潔之物，當他意識到後，就有罪了。如果有人草率起誓，不論出於善意還是惡意，即使當初沒有察覺，後來才意識到，也是有罪的。如果有人犯了以上任何一種罪，就必須認罪。

我要撇下他們，返回我的居所，直到他們知罪來尋求我。在苦難的日子裡，他們必懇切地尋求我。」

因為我們知道了真理以後，若仍然故意犯罪，就再沒有贖罪祭了，只有可怕的審判和燒滅敵對者的烈火等候我們。人違犯摩西的律法，經兩三個人指證後，尚且被毫不留情地處死，更何況人踐踏上帝的兒子，輕看那使人聖潔的立約之血，又藐視賜人恩典的聖靈？這等人該受多麼重的刑罰啊！

如果是因會眾的無知而造成過失，全體會眾就要獻上一頭公牛犢作燔祭，作蒙耶和華悅納的馨香之祭，同時按規定獻上素祭和奠祭，外加一隻公山羊作贖罪祭。祭司要為以色列全體會眾贖罪，這樣他們就得到了赦免，因為是無心之過，並且他們已經向耶和華獻上火祭和贖罪祭。這樣，以色列全體會眾和寄居的外族人都必蒙赦免，因為無心之過牽涉到所有的人。「倘若是個人無意間犯了罪，他就要獻上一隻一歲的母山羊作贖罪祭。祭司要為這無意間犯罪的人在耶和華面前贖罪，使他獲得赦免。無論是以色列人或是寄居的外族人，凡是犯無心之過的都要按這規例辦理。

約書亞和全體以色列人把謝拉家族的亞干、那些銀子、衣服和金子及其兒女、牛、驢、羊、帳篷和一切所有都帶到亞割谷。約書亞對亞干說：「你為什麼給我們惹禍呢？今天耶和華要降禍給你。」於是，以色列人便拿石頭打死了他和他一切的人畜，將其燒毀。他們在亞干身上堆起一大堆石頭，那些石頭今天還在。耶和華這才息怒，因此那地方至今還叫亞割谷。

他們答應休掉自己的妻子，並從羊群中獻上一隻公綿羊為自己贖罪。

以色列人犯了罪，違背了我吩咐他們應守的約，偷拿了本該毀滅的東西放在自己的行囊裡，還撒謊。

儘管我從前是個褻瀆上帝、迫害和侮辱信徒的人，但我仍然蒙了憐憫，因為那時我無知，還沒有信耶穌。

耶和華對摩西說：「你把以下條例告訴以色列人。「如果有人無意中觸犯耶和華的誡命，要按以下方式獻贖罪祭。

因此，無論是誰，若以不正確的心態吃主的餅、喝主的杯，就是得罪主的身體和主的血。
