我要在第六年赐福给你们，使田地的出产够你们吃三年。

“无论你们住在城里还是乡村，都必蒙福。

“你们要计算七个安息年，即七个七年，共四十九年。第五十年的七月十日赎罪日那天，你们要在境内各地吹号。你们要以这年为圣年，向境内所有居民宣告自由。这年将成为你们的禧年。各人要得回卖掉的祖业，卖身为奴的可以自由回家。第五十年是你们的禧年。这一年你们不可耕种，不可收割自生自长的庄稼，也不可摘未经修剪而结的葡萄。

七个丰年之内，埃及粮食大丰收，

以撒在那里耕种，耶和华赐福给他，那一年他得了百倍的收成。

要知道，耶和华已将安息日赐给你们，所以第六天我会赐你们双倍的食物。第七天，人人都要留在营中，不许外出。”

但第七年是安息年，土地要休息，以尊崇耶和华。你们不可耕种，不可修整葡萄园。
