It is a day of sabbath rest for you, and you must deny yourselves. From the evening of the ninth day of the month until the following evening you are to observe your sabbath.”

That day is a day of sabbath rest for you. You must rest on it. You must not eat anything on that day. You must follow the rules of the sabbath rest. Follow them from the evening of the ninth day of the month until the following evening.”

It shall be to you a Sabbath of solemn rest, and you shall afflict yourselves. On the ninth day of the month beginning at evening, from evening to evening shall you keep your Sabbath.”

This will be a Sabbath day of complete rest for you, and on that day you must deny yourselves. This day of rest will begin at sundown on the ninth day of the month and extend until sundown on the tenth day.”

It will be a Sabbath of complete rest for you, and you must practice self-denial. You are to observe your Sabbath from the evening of the ninth day of the month until the following evening.”

“所有劳苦困乏、背负重担的人啊，到我这里来吧！我要赐给你们安息。我心柔和谦卑，你们要负我的轭，向我学习，这样你们的心灵必得享安息。因为我的轭容易负，我的担子很轻省。”

这天是你们的安息日，你们要禁食。这是一条永远不变的律例。

他们生病时，我披上麻衣，谦卑地为他们禁食祷告，但上帝没有垂听。

“七月十日是赎罪日，你们要举行圣会，禁食，献火祭给耶和华。

以华冠取代锡安哀伤者头上的灰尘，以喜乐的膏油取代他们的哀伤，以颂赞的外袍取代他们的沮丧。他们将被称为耶和华所栽种的公义橡树，以彰显祂的荣耀。

我悲伤禁食，他们就羞辱我。我披上麻衣，他们就讥笑我。

你所要的祭是忧伤的心灵。上帝啊，你必不轻看忧伤痛悔的心。

如果我们先自我省察，就不会遭受审判了。

含泪撒种的必欢呼着收割。含泪出去撒种的必欢呼着带回禾捆。

他们说，‘我们禁食，你为什么不看呢？我们刻苦己身，你为什么不理睬呢？’我说，‘看啊，禁食之日你们仍然随心所欲，压榨你们的工人。你们一面禁食，一面争闹打斗，彼此恶拳相向。不要指望这样的禁食会使你们的祷告在天上蒙垂听。难道这是我要的禁食吗？难道刻苦己身、像芦苇一样垂着头、躺在麻布和炉灰上就是禁食吗？这就是你们所谓的禁食，所谓的蒙耶和华悦纳的日子吗？“‘我要的禁食是，除去罪恶的锁链，解开轭上的绳索，折断一切的轭，使受欺压的人得到自由，把你们的食物分给饥饿的人，接待无家可归的穷人，送衣服给赤身露体的人，不躲避求助的亲人。

因此，我们要竭力进入那安息，免得重蹈他们的覆辙，因不顺服而倒毙。

正如上帝曾说：“我在愤怒中起誓说，‘他们绝不可进入我的安息。’”但我们这些已经信的人能够进入祂的安息。其实造物之工自创世以来就已经完成了，

那至高至上、永远长存的圣者说：“我住在至高至圣之处，但我也跟痛悔、谦卑的人同住，使他们心灵振作。

我看见了他们的所作所为，但我还是要医治他们，引领他们，使他们和那些哀伤的人得安慰，使他们开口赞美。愿远近各方的人都得到平安！我要医治他们。这是耶和华说的。

哀痛的人有福了，因为他们必得安慰。
