The priest is to wave the two lambs before the Lord as a wave offering, together with the bread of the firstfruits. They are a sacred offering to the Lord for the priest.

耶和华晓谕亚伦说：“我已将归我的举祭，就是以色列人一切分别为圣的物，交给你经管；因你受过膏，把这些都赐给你和你的子孙，当作永得的份。以色列人归给我至圣的供物，就是一切的素祭、赎罪祭、赎愆祭，其中所有存留不经火的，都为至圣之物，要归给你和你的子孙。你要拿这些当至圣物吃；凡男丁都可以吃。你当以此物为圣。以色列人所献的举祭并摇祭都是你的；我已赐给你和你的儿女，当作永得的份；凡在你家中的洁净人都可以吃。凡油中、新酒中、五谷中至好的，就是以色列人所献给耶和华初熟之物，我都赐给你。

要从你们的住处取出细面伊法十分之二，加酵，烤成两个摇祭的饼，当作初熟之物献给耶和华。

我们若把属灵的种子撒在你们中间，就是从你们收割奉养肉身之物，这还算大事吗？

都放在亚伦的手上和他儿子的手上，作为摇祭，在耶和华面前摇一摇。

“在至高之处荣耀归与神！在地上平安归与他所喜悦的人。”

“你晓谕以色列人说：献平安祭给耶和华的，要从平安祭中取些来奉给耶和华。他亲手献给耶和华的火祭，就是脂油和胸，要带来，好把胸在耶和华面前作摇祭，摇一摇。祭司要把脂油在坛上焚烧，但胸要归亚伦和他的子孙。你们要从平安祭中把右腿作举祭，奉给祭司。亚伦子孙中，献平安祭牲血和脂油的，要得这右腿为份；因为我从以色列人的平安祭中，取了这摇的胸和举的腿给祭司亚伦和他子孙，作他们从以色列人中所永得的份。”
