They must be holy to their God and must not profane the name of their God. Because they present the food offerings to the Lord, the food of their God, they are to be holy.

Priests must be holy. They must be set apart for me. I am their God. They must not treat my name as if it were not holy. They must be holy because they bring food offerings to me. That is my food.

於是摩西對亞倫說：『這就是永恆主告訴我們說的：「在親近我的人中間、我要顯為聖；在各族之民面前、我要得榮耀。」』亞倫默默無言。

『你要用淨金作一面牌，上面按刻印章的方法刻着：「成聖別歸永恆主」。

『藐視我名的祭司啊，萬軍之永恆主對你們說：兒子孝敬父親，奴僕敬畏主人。我既是做父親，我在哪裏得到孝敬呢？我既是做主人，我在哪裏得到敬畏呢？而你們竟說：「我們在甚麼事上藐視你的名呢？」將污穢的食物供獻在我的祭壇上、而你們竟說：「我們在甚麼事上污瀆了你呢？」——這就等於你們心裏說：永恆主的桌子是可藐視的了！

你們把我的食物、脂肪和血、供獻的時候，還將心沒受割禮、肉身沒受割禮、的外人、帶進我的聖地，來玷污它，玷污我的殿；你們又違犯了我的約，在你們一切可厭惡的事上、加上這一層。

你要把他分別為聖，因為是他在獻你的上帝的食物；你要以他為聖，因為這把你們分別為聖的、我永恆主是聖的。

我對他們說：『你們歸永恆主為聖，器皿也要為聖；金銀是人自願獻的禮物、奉給永恆主你們列祖之上帝的。

離開，離開哦！從那裏出來！不要觸着不潔淨之物！要從她中間出來！扛抬永恆主器皿的人哪，務要清潔你們自己！

因為從日出之地到日落之處、我的名在列國中乃為至大；而在各處、必有所燻獻有所供獻潔淨之物於我的名；因為我的名在列國中乃為至大，萬軍之永恆主說。而你們呢、卻褻瀆我的名——這就等於你們心裏說：主的桌子是污穢的，而其食物是可藐視的了！

我要把會棚和祭壇分別為聖，也要把亞倫和他的兒子們分別為聖、作祭司來事奉我。
