“你们是世上的盐。如果盐失去咸味，怎能使它再变咸呢？它将毫无用处，只有被丢在外面任人践踏。

“每个人都要被火炼，像被盐腌一样。盐是好东西，但如果失去咸味，怎能使它再咸呢？你们里面要有盐，要彼此和睦。”

可以给他银子三点四吨、麦子两万二千升、酒两千二百升、油两千二百升，盐可以随意取用。
