於是，以弗崙把那塊位於幔利對面的麥比拉田，和其中的洞，以及田間周圍的樹木都成交了，

「六年你要耕種田地，收集地的出產。只是第七年你要讓地歇息，不耕不種，使你百姓中的貧窮人有吃的；他們吃剩的，野獸可以吃。你的葡萄園和橄欖園也要照樣辦理。

耶和華啊，看哪，現在我把你所賜我地上初熟的土產供上。』隨後你要把筐子供在耶和華－你神面前，向耶和華－你的神下拜。

要用有酵的餅，和那為感謝而獻的平安祭，與供物一同獻上。

「你要吩咐以色列人，對他們說：你們到了我賜給你們的地，收割莊稼的時候，要把初熟莊稼中的一捆拿來給祭司。

其實，基督已經從死人中復活，成為睡了之人初熟的果子。
