“‘ When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest.

“‘ Suppose you are harvesting your crops. Then do not harvest all the way to the edges of your field. And do not pick up the grain you missed.

“ When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap your field right up to its edge, neither shall you gather the gleanings after your harvest.

“ When you harvest the crops of your land, do not harvest the grain along the edges of your fields, and do not pick up what the harvesters drop.

她又起来拾取麦穗，波阿斯吩咐仆人说：“她即使在禾捆中拾取麦穗，也不可羞辱她。

摩押女子路得对拿娥米说：“让我到田里去拾取麦穗，我在谁的眼中蒙恩，就跟在谁的身后。”拿娥米说：“女儿啊，你去吧。”

“你在田间收割庄稼，若忘了一捆在田间，就不要再回去拿，要留给寄居的、孤儿和寡妇；好让耶和华—你的上帝在你手里所做的一切，赐福给你。你打了橄榄树，枝上剩下的不可再打，要留给寄居的、孤儿和寡妇。你摘葡萄园的葡萄，掉落的不可拾取，要留给寄居的、孤儿和寡妇。你要记得你曾在埃及地作过奴仆，所以我吩咐你遵行这事。

“你要吩咐以色列人，对他们说：你们到了我赐给你们的地，收割庄稼的时候，要把初熟庄稼中的一捆拿来给祭司。

在这一日，凡不刻苦己心的，必从百姓中剪除。
