“‘ When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest.

“‘ Suppose you are harvesting your crops. Then do not harvest all the way to the edges of your field. And do not pick up the grain you missed.

“ When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap your field right up to its edge, neither shall you gather the gleanings after your harvest.

“ When you harvest the crops of your land, do not harvest the grain along the edges of your fields, and do not pick up what the harvesters drop.

“ When you reap the harvest of your land, you are not to reap to the very edge of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest.

她又起來拾取麥穗，波阿斯吩咐僕人說：「她即使在禾捆中拾取麥穗，也不可羞辱她。

摩押女子路得對拿娥米說：「讓我到田裏去拾取麥穗，我在誰的眼中蒙恩，就跟在誰的身後。」拿娥米說：「女兒啊，你去吧。」

「你在田間收割莊稼，若忘了一捆在田間，就不要再回去拿，要留給寄居的、孤兒和寡婦；好讓耶和華－你的神在你手裏所做的一切，賜福給你。你打了橄欖樹，枝上剩下的不可再打，要留給寄居的、孤兒和寡婦。你摘葡萄園的葡萄，掉落的不可拾取，要留給寄居的、孤兒和寡婦。你要記得你曾在埃及地作過奴僕，所以我吩咐你遵行這事。

「你要吩咐以色列人，對他們說：你們到了我賜給你們的地，收割莊稼的時候，要把初熟莊稼中的一捆拿來給祭司。

在這一日，凡不刻苦己心的，必從百姓中剪除。
