“‘ Observe my Sabbaths and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord.

“‘ You must always keep my Sabbath days. Have respect for my sacred tent. I am the Lord.

You shall keep my Sabbaths and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord.

“ Keep my Sabbath days of rest, and show reverence toward my sanctuary. I am the Lord.

Keep my Sabbaths and revere my sanctuary; I am the LORD.

Guard your steps as you go to the house of God, and approach to listen rather than to offer the sacrifice of fools; for they do not know that they are doing evil.

Every one of you shall revere his mother and his father, and you shall keep My Sabbaths; I am the Lord your God.

“ Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

A God greatly feared in the council of the holy ones, And awesome above all those who are around Him?

And He* said to them,“ It is written:‘ My house will be called a house of prayer’; but you are making it a den of robbers.”

Or what agreement does the temple of God have with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said,“ I will dwell among them and walk among them; And I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

The Lord said to Moses:“ Tell your brother Aaron that he shall not enter at any time into the Holy Place inside the veil, before the atoning cover which is on the ark, or he will die; for I will appear in the cloud over the atoning cover.

And He made a whip of cords, and drove them all out of the temple area, with the sheep and the oxen; and He poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables;and to those who were selling the doves He said,“ Take these things away from here; stop making My Father’s house a place of business!”

Furthermore, all the officials of the priests and the people were very unfaithful, following all the abominations of the nations; and they defiled the house of the Lord which He had sanctified in Jerusalem.

Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said,“ The Lord is certainly in this place, and I did not know it!”And he was afraid and said,“ How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!”

For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

Then Moses said to Aaron,“ It is what the Lord spoke, saying,‘ By those who come near Me I will be treated as holy, And before all the people I will be honored.’ ” So Aaron, therefore, kept silent.

Then he put the carved image of the idol which he had made in the house of God, of which God had said to David and his son Solomon,“ In this house and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen from all the tribes of Israel, I will put My name forever;

“ And so you shall keep the sons of Israel separated from their uncleanness, so that they will not die in their uncleanness by their defiling My tabernacle that is among them.”

Utterly kill old men, young men, female virgins, little children, and women, but do not touch any person on whom is the mark; and you shall start from My sanctuary.” So they started with the elders who were before the temple.
