But in the fifth year you may eat its fruit. In this way your harvest will be increased. I am the Lord your God.

你们盼望多得，所得的却少；你们收到家中，我就吹去。这是为什么呢？因为我的殿荒凉，你们各人却顾自己的房屋。这是万军之耶和华说的。所以为你们的缘故，天就不降甘露，地也不出土产。我命干旱临到地土、山冈、五谷、新酒，和油，并地上的出产、人民、牲畜，以及人手一切劳碌得来的。”

“你们若遵行我的律例，谨守我的诫命，我就给你们降下时雨，叫地生出土产，田野的树木结果子。

当将你的粮食撒在水面，因为日久必能得着。你要分给七人，或分给八人，因为你不知道将来有什么灾祸临到地上。

“这殿仍然荒凉，你们自己还住天花板的房屋吗？现在万军之耶和华如此说：你们要省察自己的行为。你们撒的种多，收的却少；你们吃，却不得饱；喝，却不得足；穿衣服，却不得暖；得工钱的，将工钱装在破漏的囊中。”

你们要追想此日以前，就是从这九月二十四日起，追想到立耶和华殿根基的日子。仓里有谷种吗？葡萄树、无花果树、石榴树、橄榄树都没有结果子。从今日起，我必赐福与你们。”

人岂可夺取神之物呢？你们竟夺取我的供物。你们却说：‘我们在何事上夺取你的供物呢？’就是你们在当纳的十分之一和当献的供物上。因你们通国的人都夺取我的供物，咒诅就临到你们身上。万军之耶和华说：你们要将当纳的十分之一全然送入仓库，使我家有粮，以此试试我，是否为你们敞开天上的窗户，倾福与你们，甚至无处可容。

你要以财物和一切初熟的土产尊荣耶和华。这样，你的仓房必充满有余；你的酒榨有新酒盈溢。
