對曰、爾當盡心、盡性、盡力、盡意、愛主爾之上帝、亦當愛鄰如己、耶穌曰、爾所對是也、行此則生、彼欲自義、謂耶穌曰、誰為我鄰、耶穌曰、或自耶路撒冷下耶利哥、遇盜、剝其衣、且傷之、瀕死、委之而去、適有祭司由是路而下、見之、則旁行而過、又有利未人至彼處、見之、亦旁行而過、惟一撒瑪利亞人、行至其地、見而憫焉、遂就之、以油以酒澆其傷處、裹之、乘以己畜、攜至旅館、而顧恤之、翌日取金二錢、予館人、曰、且顧此人、若所費加多、我返時償爾、此三人中、爾意孰為遇盜者之鄰耶、曰、矜恤之者是也、耶穌曰、爾往效此而行、○

證爾父母、愛鄰如己、

愛友乎、勿自伸冤、寧待主怒、記有之、主曰、伸冤在我、我將報之、

爾聞有言、鄰則愛之、敵則惡之、惟我語汝、敵爾者愛之、窘逐爾者、為之祈禱、

如遇仇之牛驢迷路、牽而歸之、見憾汝者之驢、伏於重負之下、勿遺棄之、必助其人解之、○

有少者就之曰、師乎、我當行何善、以獲永生、

蓋彼為上帝之役、以益爾、爾若行惡則畏之、以其非徒佩劍、乃為上帝役、以怒加諸行惡者、

押沙龍命其僕曰、當伺暗嫩飲酒快心、我諭爾曰擊暗嫩、則殺之、毋畏、命爾者非我乎、當壯膽而奮勇、

勿以惡報惡、眾所善者則求之、

勿言我必復仇、惟仰望耶和華、彼必救爾、

外遭鋒刃、內受驚惶、少男幼女、乳子白叟、淪胥以亡、

凡荼毒、忿怒、怨恨、諠譁、訕謗、並諸暴很、宜悉去之、

今則宜去一切忿怒、暴戾、狠毒、謗讟、穢言、

蓋曰、伸冤在我、我必報之、又曰、主必鞫其民、此誰所言、我儕固知之矣、

拜像、巫術、結仇、爭鬥、忌恨、忿怒、釁隙、朋黨、異端、

爾既霑主之仁澤、去諸惡慝、詭譎、偽善、媢嫉、毀謗、

押沙龍因暗嫩強玷其妹他瑪、憾之、善惡之言、俱不與語、○

不恆置辯、不永懷怒兮、
