不可咒骂聋子，也不可绊倒盲人，应当敬畏你们的上帝。我是耶和华。

“‘ Do not curse the deaf or put a stumbling block in front of the blind, but fear your God. I am the Lord.

“‘ Do not ask for bad things to happen to deaf people. Do not put anything in front of blind people that will make them trip. Instead, have respect for me. I am the Lord your God.

‘凡故意带领盲人走错路的必受咒诅！’全体民众要回答说，‘阿们！’

“在年长者面前，要恭敬站立，要敬重年长者。要敬畏你们的上帝。我是耶和华。

要敬畏你们的上帝，不可彼此亏负。我是你们的上帝耶和华。

其实食物并不能改变上帝对我们的看法，我们不吃也没有损失，吃了也不会更好。但你们要小心，不要让你们的自由绊倒那些信心软弱的人。如果有人看见你这明白以上道理的人竟然坐在偶像的庙中吃喝，他虽然良心不安，岂不还是会放胆吃献给偶像的祭物吗？这样，你的知识反而令那软弱的人，就是基督舍命救回的弟兄沉沦。你们这样得罪弟兄，伤了他脆弱的良心，就是得罪基督。所以，如果我吃某些食物会令我的弟兄在信仰上跌倒，我就情愿永远不吃，免得令他们跌倒。

要尊重所有的人，爱主内的弟兄姊妹，敬畏上帝，尊敬君王。

所以，我们不可再互相论断，要留心自己的言行，不要绊倒弟兄姊妹。

不要成为犹太人、希腊人或上帝教会的绊脚石，

迫害你们的，要为他们祝福；要祝福，不可咒诅。

在我之前的省长使民众负担沉重，天天索取食物、酒及五百克银子。他们的仆人也欺压民众，但我因敬畏上帝而没有这样做。

到了第三天，约瑟对他们说：“我是敬畏上帝的人，你们照我的话做就能活命。

不过有几件事我要责备你，你那里有人随从巴兰的教导。这巴兰从前教巴勒在以色列人面前布下网罗，使他们吃祭过偶像的食物、犯淫乱的罪。

既然你们称呼那位按各人的行为公正无私地审判人的上帝为父，就应该存着敬畏的心过你们在世上寄居的日子。
