“ Do not make yourselves unclean by any of these things, for by all these the nations I am driving out before you have become unclean,

異邦人行此、自取污衊、故我逐之、爾勿則效、

爾毋行此沾污己身、我於爾前所將逐之諸族皆行之、自取沾污、

“‘ Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, because this is how the nations that I am going to drive out before you became defiled.

“‘ Do not make yourselves“ unclean” in any of these ways. That is how other nations became“ unclean.” So I am going to drive those nations out of the land to make room for you.

“ Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, for the people I am driving out before you have defiled themselves in all these ways.

“ Do not defile yourselves by any of these practices, for the nations I am driving out before you have defiled themselves by all these things.

‘ Do not defile yourselves by any of these things; for by all these things the nations which I am driving out from you have become defiled.

‘ Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for by all these the nations are defiled, which I am casting out before you.

Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out from before you;

“ Do not defile yourselves by any of these practices, for the nations I am driving out before you have defiled themselves by all these things.

Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:

“‘ Do not defile yourselves with any of these things, for the nations which I am about to drive out before you have been defiled with all these things.

“‘ Don’t defile yourselves in any of these things; for in all these the nations which I am casting out before you were defiled.

for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord. And because of these abominations the Lord your God is driving them out before you.

So keep my charge never to practice any of these abominable customs that were practiced before you, and never to make yourselves unclean by them: I am the Lord your God.”

You shall not worship the Lord your God in that way, for every abominable thing that the Lord hates they have done for their gods, for they even burn their sons and their daughters in the fire to their gods.

But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person.For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander.These are what defile a person. But to eat with unwashed hands does not defile anyone.”

Yet I persistently sent to you all my servants the prophets, saying,‘ Oh, do not do this abomination that I hate!’

You shall not do as they do in the land of Egypt, where you lived, and you shall not do as they do in the land of Canaan, to which I am bringing you. You shall not walk in their statutes.

“ You shall therefore keep all my statutes and all my rules and do them, that the land where I am bringing you to live may not vomit you out.And you shall not walk in the customs of the nation that I am driving out before you, for they did all these things, and therefore I detested them.

If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.

“ None of you shall approach any one of his close relatives to uncover nakedness. I am the Lord.You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father, which is the nakedness of your mother; she is your mother, you shall not uncover her nakedness.You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s wife; it is your father’s nakedness.You shall not uncover the nakedness of your sister, your father’s daughter or your mother’s daughter, whether brought up in the family or in another home.You shall not uncover the nakedness of your son’s daughter or of your daughter’s daughter, for their nakedness is your own nakedness.You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s wife’s daughter, brought up in your father’s family, since she is your sister.You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s sister; she is your father’s relative.You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother’s sister, for she is your mother’s relative.You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s brother, that is, you shall not approach his wife; she is your aunt.You shall not uncover the nakedness of your daughter-in-law; she is your son’s wife, you shall not uncover her nakedness.You shall not uncover the nakedness of your brother’s wife; it is your brother’s nakedness.You shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and of her daughter, and you shall not take her son’s daughter or her daughter’s daughter to uncover her nakedness; they are relatives; it is depravity.And you shall not take a woman as a rival wife to her sister, uncovering her nakedness while her sister is still alive.“ You shall not approach a woman to uncover her nakedness while she is in her menstrual uncleanness.And you shall not lie sexually with your neighbor’s wife and so make yourself unclean with her.You shall not give any of your children to offer them to Molech, and so profane the name of your God: I am the Lord.You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.And you shall not lie with any animal and so make yourself unclean with it, neither shall any woman give herself to an animal to lie with it: it is perversion.

For Moses said,‘ Honor your father and your mother’; and,‘ Whoever reviles father or mother must surely die.’But you say,‘ If a man tells his father or his mother,“ Whatever you would have gained from me is Corban”’( that is, given to God)—then you no longer permit him to do anything for his father or mother,thus making void the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And many such things you do.”And he called the people to him again and said to them,“ Hear me, all of you, and understand:There is nothing outside a person that by going into him can defile him, but the things that come out of a person are what defile him.”
