He shall bathe himself with water in the sanctuary area and put on his regular garments. Then he shall come out and sacrifice the burnt offering for himself and the burnt offering for the people, to make atonement for himself and for the people.

取金、與紫赤絳三色之縷、與編棉、製聖衣、即黼掛、公服、長衣、采衣、冠、帶、亞倫與其子服之、以為祭司、而奉事我。

凡若此者、爾如捫之、必蒙厥污、當洗濯其身、至於薄暮、可食聖物。

暨為死更生者之始、冠百王而立極、作真實無妄之證耶穌基督、賜爾恩寵平康、彼愛我、流厥血、滌除我罪、以我為王為祭司、事父上帝、願榮華權力歸之、世世靡暨、

遂攜亞倫及其子、以水濯之、以衣衣亞倫、束以帶、服以長衣、加以公服、束以繡紳、亦賜黼掛、置烏陵土明於其中、以冠冠之、冠前置金額於顙、額即聖冕、循耶和華命。

屆期、毫髮鬚眉、薙之務盡、澣衣濯身、而後成潔。
