至於抽中歸給阿撒瀉勒的山羊，卻要活着安放在耶和華面前，用以贖罪，然後送到曠野去，歸給阿撒瀉勒。

但那拈阄归与阿撒泻勒的羊要活着安置在耶和华面前，用以赎罪，打发人送到旷野去，归与阿撒泻勒。

以所掣歸阿撒瀉勒之羊、生置耶和華前、用以贖罪、後釋於曠野、俾歸阿撒瀉勒、

亦攜歸亞撒色之羊、生置我前、代為贖罪、後釋之於曠野、以歸亞撒色。

按鬮歸於阿撒瀉勒之牡山羊、當生置於主前用以贖罪、後蹤之曠野、歸於阿撒瀉勒、

But the goat chosen by lot as the scapegoat shall be presented alive before the Lord to be used for making atonement by sending it into the wilderness as a scapegoat.

But the goat chosen by the other lot must remain alive. First, it must be brought in to me to pay for the people’s sins. Then, it must be sent into the desert as a goat that carries the people’s sins away.

but the goat on which the lot fell for Azazel shall be presented alive before the Lord to make atonement over it, that it may be sent away into the wilderness to Azazel.

神設立耶穌作贖罪祭，是憑耶穌的血，藉着信，要顯明神的義；因為他用忍耐的心寬容人先前所犯的罪，好使今時顯明他的義，讓人知道他自己為義，也稱信耶穌的人為義。

這樣一位聖潔、無邪惡、無玷污、遠離罪人、高過諸天的大祭司，對我們是最合適的；他不像那些大祭司，每日必須先為自己的罪，後為百姓的罪獻祭，因為他只一次將自己獻上就把這事成全了。

他要向那從痲瘋病中得潔淨的人身上彈血七次，宣佈他為潔淨，然後把那活鳥在野地裏放走。

耶穌被出賣，是為我們的過犯；他復活，是為使我們稱義。

神使那無罪的，替我們成為罪，好使我們在他裏面成為神的義。

他誠然擔當我們的憂患，背負我們的痛苦；我們卻以為他受責罰，是被神擊打苦待。他為我們的過犯受害，為我們的罪孽被壓傷。因他受的懲罰，我們得平安；因他受的鞭傷，我們得醫治。我們都如羊走迷，各人偏行己路；耶和華使我們眾人的罪孽都歸在他身上。他被欺壓受苦，卻不開口；他像羔羊被牽去宰殺，又像羊在剪毛的人手下無聲，他也是這樣不開口。因受欺壓和審判，他被奪去，誰能想到他的世代呢？因為他從活人之地被剪除，為我百姓的罪過他被帶到死裏。他雖然未行殘暴，口中也沒有詭詐，人還使他與惡人同穴，與財主同墓。耶和華的旨意要壓傷他，使他受苦。當他的生命作為贖罪祭時，他必看見後裔，他的年日必然長久。耶和華所喜悅的事，必在他手中亨通。因自己的勞苦，他必看見光就心滿意足。因自己的認識，我的義僕使許多人得稱為義，他要擔當他們的罪孽。

他的雙手要按在活的山羊的頭上，承認以色列人所有的罪孽過犯，就是他們一切的罪，把這些罪都歸在羊的頭上，再指派一個人把牠送到曠野去。這羊要擔當他們一切的罪孽，帶到無人之地；那人要把羊送到曠野去。

基督為我們捨命，我們從此就知道何為愛；我們也當為弟兄捨命。

這樣，照着天上樣式做的物件必須用這些禮儀去潔淨，但那天上的一切，自然當用更美的祭物去潔淨。因為基督並沒有進了人手所造的聖所－這不過是真聖所的影像－而是進到天上，如今為我們出現在神面前。
