“ You are to abhor these birds. They must not be eaten because they are abhorrent: eagles, bearded vultures, Egyptian vultures,

他們的喉嚨是敞開的墳墓，他們用舌頭弄詭詐，他們嘴裡有虺蛇的毒，滿口是咒罵和惡毒；為了殺人流血，他們的腳步飛快，在經過的路上留下毀滅和悲慘。和睦之道，他們不曉得，

他們既然故意不認識神，神就任憑他們存著敗壞的心，去作那些不正當的事。這些人充滿了各樣的不義、邪惡、貪心、陰險；滿懷嫉妒、兇殺、好鬥、欺詐、幸災樂禍；又是好說讒言的、毀謗人的、憎恨神的、凌辱人的、傲慢的、自誇的、製造惡事的、忤逆父母的、冥頑不靈的、不守信用的、冷酷無情的、沒有惻隱之心的。他們雖然明明知道行這些事的人，神判定他們是該死的，然而他們不單自己去行，也喜歡別人去行。

“你要把號角放在你的嘴上，敵人如鷹一般來攻擊耶和華的家；因為他們違背了我的約，干犯了我的律法。

你們不可吃的鳥類有以下這些：鷹、狗頭鷹、紅頭鷹、鳶、隼、黑隼，以及這一類的鳥；烏鴉和這一類的鳥；駝鳥、夜鷹、海鷹、雀鷹，以及這一類的鳥；小貓頭鷹、貓頭鷹、角鴟、小梟、禿鵰、魚鷹、鸛、鷺，以及這一類的鳥；戴勝和蝙蝠。有翅膀的昆蟲，對你們都不潔淨，你們都不可吃。潔淨的鳥類，你們都可以吃。

他們的馬比豹更快，比晚上的豺狼更猛。他們的騎兵奔馳，自遠而來；他們如鷹飛翔，迅速吞噬。

大鷹上騰，在高處築巢，是聽你的吩咐嗎？牠住在山巖之上，棲息在巖崖與堅固所在之上，從那裡窺看獵物，牠們的眼睛可以從遠處觀望。牠的幼雛也都吮血；被殺的人在哪裡，鷹也在哪裡。”

礦坑中的路，鷙鳥不知道，連鷹的眼也未曾見過；

看哪！他必如密雲湧聚，他的戰車如旋風，他的馬比鷹還快。我們有禍了，我們滅亡了！

我們從前也是無知、不順服、受了迷惑、被各種私慾和逸樂所奴役，生活在惡毒和嫉妒之中，是可憎可惡的，並且互相仇視。

屍首在哪裡，鷹也必聚在哪裡。

因為耶和華這樣說：“看哪！必有一人像大鷹疾飛，展開翅膀攻擊摩押。

烏鴉雛鳥因缺乏食物飛來飛去，向神哀求的時候，誰為烏鴉預備食物呢？”

“我的子民愚妄，他們連我都不認識，是無知的兒女，沒有悟性；他們有智慧行惡，卻沒有知識行善。”

追趕我們的比空中的鷹還快；他們在山上追趕我們，在曠野埋伏攻擊我們。
