Then Moses said to Aaron and his sons Eleazar and Ithamar,“ Do not let your hair become unkempt and do not tear your clothes, or you will die and the Lord will be angry with the whole community. But your relatives, all the Israelites, may mourn for those the Lord has destroyed by fire.

Moses spoke to Aaron and to Eleazar and Ithamar. They were Aaron’s sons. Moses said,“ Don’t let your hair hang loose. Don’t tear your clothes. If you do, you will die. And the Lord will be angry with the whole community. But all the Israelites are allowed to show they are sad. They are your relatives. They may mourn for those the Lord has destroyed with fire.

And Moses said to Aaron and to Eleazar and Ithamar his sons,“ Do not let the hair of your heads hang loose, and do not tear your clothes, lest you die, and wrath come upon all the congregation; but let your brothers, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning that the Lord has kindled.

Then Moses said to Aaron and his sons Eleazar and Ithamar,“ Do not show grief by leaving your hair uncombed or by tearing your clothes. If you do, you will die, and the Lord’s anger will strike the whole community of Israel. However, the rest of the Israelites, your relatives, may mourn because of the Lord’s fiery destruction of Nadab and Abihu.

Then Moses said to Aaron and his sons Eleazar and Ithamar,“ Do not let your hair hang loose and do not tear your clothes, or else you will die, and the LORD will become angry with the whole community. However, your brothers, the whole house of Israel, may weep over the fire that the LORD caused.

Then Moses said to Aaron and to his sons Eleazar and Ithamar,“ Do not uncover your heads nor tear your clothes, so that you do not die and He does not become wrathful against all the congregation. But your kinsmen, the entire house of Israel, shall weep for the burning which the Lord has brought about.

And Moses said to Aaron, and to Eleazar and Ithamar, his sons,“ Do not uncover your heads nor tear your clothes, lest you die, and wrath come upon all the people. But let your brethren, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning which the Lord has kindled.

And Moses said unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons, Let not the hair of your heads go loose, neither rend your clothes; that ye die not, and that he be not wroth with all the congregation: but let your brethren, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning which Jehovah hath kindled.

Then Moses said to Aaron and his sons Eleazar and Ithamar,“ Do not let your hair hang loose and do not tear your garments, or else you will die, and the Lord will become angry with the whole community. However, your brothers, the whole house of Israel, may mourn over that tragedy when the Lord sent the fire.

And Moses said unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons, Uncover not your heads, neither rend your clothes; lest ye die, and lest wrath come upon all the people: but let your brethren, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning which the LORD hath kindled.

Then Moses said to Aaron and to Eleazar and Ithamar his other two sons,“ Do not dishevel the hair of your heads and do not tear your garments, so that you do not die and so that wrath does not come on the whole congregation. Your brothers, all the house of Israel, are to mourn the burning which the LORD has caused,

利未人立營、四周法幕、以為範衛、免以色列族干我震怒。

奉我之時、毋近尸側。既留髮以奉我、雖其父母兄弟姊妹死、毋為之蒙不潔。

人子、我必使爾所愛之妻、忽焉而亡、爾勿哀哭、勿下淚、為死者毋揚爾聲、毋露爾首、毋去爾履、毋掩爾口、毋食苦餅。

彼告父母曰、我未見之、不識兄弟、不顧子女、乃從爾命、而守爾約。

猶大地乎、爾之愛子、為人俘囚、故當去爾髮、童爾首、與神鷹無異。

祭司既使婦立於我前、必露其頂、取因疑獻祭以記罪愆之物、付於其手、祭司執致詛之苦水、

窺察者二人、嫩之子約書亞、耶孚尼子迦勒、自裂其衣、

故耶和華怒斯民、棄之如遺、民憂患斷髮務盡、哭於童山。

當日清晨、耶和華降疫癘、遍染以色列族、迄至所定之期、自但及別是巴死者七萬。天使在耶路撒冷、舉手欲擊都城、耶和華怒息、諭勦民之天使曰、足矣、可止爾手。其時天使在耶布士人。亞勞拿之穀場。大闢見擊民之天使、則曰、我犯罪行惡、何與群羊、請爾攻我、及我父之家。

詰旦、以色列會眾怨摩西亞倫曰、耶和華之民、嘗為爾曹所戮、會眾咸集、攻擊摩西亞倫、瞻望會幕、有雲蓋之、耶和華之榮光顯現。摩西亞倫、至會幕前。耶和華諭摩西曰、離此會眾、我將速滅之、二人俯伏。摩西告亞倫曰、耶和華怒甚、其災已降、爾當執鼎、取壇上之火炷香、急至眾會、代為贖罪。亞倫遵摩西命、取鼎、趨至會眾所、見災已降、

耶和華諭摩西曰、亞倫子孫為祭司、當告之云、族中有死亡者、祭司勿為之蒙污、若死者為己戚屬、父母兄弟、子女、則可、姊妹未適人者亦可、既為長者、則勿從俗、為人蒙污、勿髠髮、勿薙鬚之四周、勿割肉。祭司既獻燔祭、享厥上帝、故當成聖、以奉事我、毋瀆我名、祭司為聖、以奉上帝、故娼妓淫奔棄婦勿娶。祭司既享上帝、必以為聖、蓋我耶和華乃聖、使爾成聖。如祭司之女行淫自玷、辱及於父、必爇以火。兄弟中有為祭司長者、既沐香膏、衣聖衣、任是職、則勿裂衣露項、勿近尸側、即父母之尸亦勿近之、而蒙不潔。祭司長戴冕受膏、奉厥上帝、勿離聖地、勿瀆上帝之聖所、我耶和華所命如此。祭司長必娶處女。嫠婦、棄婦、娼妓、淫奔、勿娶、惟宗族之處女則可、勿使其苗裔玷於族中、蓋我耶和華已俾其成聖。○
