Our pursuers are at our necks; We are worn out, we are given no rest.

我們被追趕，有軛在脖子上；我們勞勞碌碌，得不到歇息。

追者及我、扼我頸項、困憊不得休息兮、

我項服役、勤勞不息兮。

我項負軛、被人逼迫、困憊已甚、不得休息、

Those who pursue us are at our heels; we are weary and find no rest.

Those who chase us are right behind us. We’re tired and can’t get any rest.

Our pursuers are at our necks; we are weary; we are given no rest.

Those who pursue us are at our heels; we are exhausted but are given no rest.

We are closely pursued; we are tired, and no one offers us rest.

They pursue at our heels; We labor and have no rest.

Our pursuers are upon our necks: We are weary, and have no rest.

Our necks[ are] under persecution: we labour,[ and] have no rest.

We are pursued– they are breathing down our necks; we are weary and have no rest.

Behold, we are slaves today, And as for the land which You gave to our fathers to eat its fruit and its bounty, Behold, we are slaves on it.And its abundant produce is for the kings Whom You have set over us because of our sins; They also rule over our bodies And over our cattle as they please, So we are in great distress.

For this is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says:“ I have put a yoke of iron on the neck of all these nations, to serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him. And I have also given him the animals of the field.” ’ ”

Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

you will serve your enemies whom the Lord will send against you, in hunger, thirst, nakedness, and devoid of all things; and He will put an iron yoke on your neck until He has destroyed you.

this is what the Lord has said to me:“ Make for yourself restraints and yokes and put them on your neck,

‘ And it will be that the nation or the kingdom which will not serve him, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and will not put its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, I will punish that nation with the sword, with famine, and with plague,’ declares the Lord,‘ until I have eliminated it by his hand.

Among those nations you will find no peace, and there will be no resting place for the sole of your foot; but there the Lord will give you a trembling heart, failing of eyes, and despair of soul.So your lives will be hanging in doubt before you; and you will be terrified night and day, and have no assurance of your life.

The yoke of my wrongdoings is bound; By His hand they are woven together. They have come upon my neck; He has made my strength fail. The Lord has handed me over To those against whom I am not able to stand.

Since this is the case, why are you putting God to the test by placing upon the neck of the disciples a yoke which neither our forefathers nor we have been able to bear?

But the nation that will bring its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon and serve him, I will let remain on its land,’ declares the Lord,‘ and they will cultivate it and live in it.’ ” ’ ”I spoke words like all these to Zedekiah king of Judah, saying,“ Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon and serve him and his people, and live!

Our pursuers were swifter Than the eagles of the sky; They chased us on the mountains, They waited in ambush for us in the wilderness.
